My elder son has recently purchased one of these recordable dvd machines

Unfortunately he doesn't share my enthusiasm for Cohen, but I might be able to bribe or threaten him to record the program. Our reception is not always perfect for BBC 4 but I will give it a go.
margaret
PS He has just agreed

His reception upstairs is better than ours in the lounge.

This is excellent, Margaret ~ I hope all goes well in the recording process.

Although I don't have a DVD recorder myself I belong to a UK based group of Dylan fans and we frequently trade illicitly recorded digital concert DVDs. One of our group recently recorded the recent BBC 4 Gillian Welch concert straight from the TV on to DVD.
I can easily arrange a digital DVD recording, but I think that our Amercian friends will need an all regions multi-player DVD player.
I will make enquiries with our resident group techies and report back.

Hi Ken,
I've been meaning to contact you as I'm still enjoying the items that you sent me-and they weren't a monkey and a plywood violin.
Hope you'll keep us in mind and that all is well with you. I'll contact you through email for other stuff-but good to see you here again.
All the best,
Joe & Anne

I have a friend, also an LC fan, who will be able to record this on DVD - I will ask about copies.

That's great, John. We are away that week, catching a bit of winter sun, and I have to rely on the kids remembering to reset the digital chanel to the one I want to record every time they use the tv. I'll probably end up with half an hour of MTV

Dear J.T.S.
Could you please count me in for a copy?
I will pay, of course.
You will find my address by giving me a pm first.
I recall that you weren't in Gloucester last year, unlike some, including me

.
John, if you can get your act together over this one, I just may forgive you for your absence
Yours, as aye,
Andrew.

Hey,
I also got 9/10. Question number 7 is the tricky one!
And I didn't know the answer to the Competition question, but I did some research and now I know a little bit more about LC... and the answer to the question of course! Too bad only UK residents can participate.
Warm regards,
Maarten

"Your final score is 10 out of 10
10 out of 10 - congratulations! You know your stuff!"
Yak-yak-yak!

I'm feeling so fresh right now!
Yes, tricky question number seven - this kind of person
do exist?

and... I must admit...

this one (q7) I did not know, I only knew it was not 1 of the 3 so I took a chance with one of the 2 names left, and I was lucky!

10 out of 10 for me, I admit the desert island disc question was a bit of luck I knew one for certain the other I had a dim recollection about.
When I looked at the competition question I'm ashamed to say I don't know it
