after vegas i was reading a diary of a german woman travelling through india,
i was thinking a lot of you. friends of mine have been there last year and made a
very nice cd with sounds of india. i´ve been there in 81 and still have very strong
memories of smells, colours and sounds.
hope to see you again in a nice surronding - it could be even a concert.....

I won't be coming to Hydra though I would love to...
my last visit to Greece was in 1973 to Crete and Corfu...sigh..loved it.
I would love to hear the CD of sounds of India if thats possible.
I will write you a pm about my experiences...as I don't want to bore everyone here.
I did have a LC moment so soon will write that one on the thread for those moments.

Dear Ute - Luise

It's great that you are organizing a meeting and that you are even offering some Cohenites a place to stay overnight! We would have liked to meet you and some others we already know and to meet new people, but unfortunately we are buzy that weekend. We know only you, met Hans and Caren for a minute in Vegas (thanks again Hans for the fantastic Stuttgart-Tix!), Conny and Maulwurf (sorry Maulwurf, we always forget your real name - Hartgulf or Halgurd or...(?) - shame on us , we had such an interesting conversation with you in Stuttgart, that we really should remember your name!).

You all will surely have a fantastic weekend! We wish you all a lot of fun, music, laughter and drinks...

Sorry I cannot be with you. I will be on a trip across Central America at that time, but hope to meet up again in the future.
Ah! India One of my favourite places! I've been 5 or 6 times and had a sort of LC experience 2 or 3 years ago when I recognised a Cohen fan in my guesthouse by a small tattoo of the Future logo. Of course we became good friends

hi friends,

time is coming closer...
on saturday we will meet at 5 o´clock in my flat, have some time to talk
go to the concert. after the concert i ordered two tables for
20 persons in a greek(!) restaurant. my idea is to order warm
and cold typical greek appetizers. so we don´t have to wait too long
for the food. how you like this? denis fischer will join us.
and then we make a special party in my place

Thanks again to Ute for a most memorable weekend filled with music, friends and last but certainly not least great hospitality!!!

Here is a picture of our small group of enthusiasts. Denis Fischer and his piano player Carsten Sauer can be seen a little to the left. They did a marvellous job with covering Leonard's songs and there were even some very individual translations done by Denis himself. If you are able to catch him somewhere on his current tour - go and you won't regret it.



It's been great seeing you all once again (or for the first time). And a special thanks to Ute!!!
