Hi people,
I am soooo happy!!!! I am wordless......it was the most short BUT THE MOST POWERFUL LC concert in my life.
He was so cool: relaxed, free, smily, and very very strong!!! Audience just loved him, and he was very very happy to be here. He had a PERFECT VOICE, sound was very good, acustic of Piazza Santa Croce was beautiful. (he did not sang "I did not come to Firenze to fool you". but IN PIAZZA DEL SANTA CROCE:-))) sweet
Short but terrific concert!!!! It did not depend on leonard, but on italian authority, i am afraid. THEY HAD TO FINISH AT MIDNIGHT. I am sure he did not want, but he had to stop. He was so lovely, in very good shape, evetybody loved him. There were many people listening to him on the windows of the houses in the sqare..........(i am writing everything I feel, please, forgive me this confusion).
And here is the setlist:
Dance me to the and of love
Future
Bird on a wire
Everybody knows
Secret life
Who by fire (great Javi)
Born in chains (with new introduction)
Chealsy hotel
Waiting for the miracle
Flood
Anthem
Tower of songs
Susanne
Sisters of Mercy
Partisan
Boogie street (thank you Sharon)
Hallelujah
I'm your man
Take this waltz
Famous blue raincoat
If it be yor will (sweet girls)
First we take Manhattan (my little monkey was welcomed by Leonard with a smile and than taken by Javier)
I tried to leave you
thank you all lovely forum people for that beautiful meetup before and after the concert. Pictures will be available soon
With love: gallina

ladydi....thank you for your words...my heart is simply overflowing....want to fly and fly forever. my first glimpse of leonard was at the 4 pm rehearsal with gallina....when I heard his voice, so unexpectedly, I flew out of the cab and left gallina with everything.......and ran as fast as I could to be as close as I could..i think gallina saved my life many times...she is an angel....imagine this old lady who could barely walk ( age and excitement ) trying to run ....only for leonard...." ain't no cure for love "....................jeanne

Obviously the good thing is when show starts earlier so LC can do the whole setlist, this was really short - I mean, he NEVER omitted Ain't No Cure for Love so he really had hard time with throwing the songs out of the setlist... When did the show start, very late? I am really surprised that he cut so many songs out.
I am now sure that he omitted two new songs in Zagreb (announced on the setlist) because the show was late for 30 minutes (due to the local promoter's request).

Fantastic concert!!
Unfortunatly I had some awful seats...and had'n seen very much! The square was really beautiful and magic during the concert.
I'm still so excited. Last night I didn't sleep

Because of the curfew he didn't sing the last songs...I hate our Italian administrations, that everytime ruin beautiful things...It was such an event...anyway he was fantastic and sang from 9:15 pm untill midnight!

HI FRIENDS....THIS CONCERT WAS ALL ABOUT LOVE...LEONARD GAVE TO US AND WE GAVE BACK TO HIM.....I HAVE NEVER SEEN SUCH JOY AND FACES FILLED TO THE BRIM WITH PASSION....IT SEEPED INTO YOUR VERY SOUL...MADE YOU WANT TO SING AND DANCE AND OTHER THINGS I SHALL LEAVE TO THE IMAGINATION.......ONE SONG...A HUNDRED SONGS DOES IT MATTER........YES AND NO......I THINK THAT MIGHT BE LEONARDS ANSWER.....THERE WERE TEARS IN MY EYES..SONGS ON MY LIPS...AS I CLUNG TO WHATEVER IT WAS NEXT TO THE STAGE....I COULD SEE HIS EYES.....THEY LET US STAY THAT CLOSE AS HE SANG HIS GOODBYES........THE REGULATORS MAY HAVE SET A CURFEW......BUT THEY GAVE ME LEONARD UP CLOSE FOR FOR MANY MANY MINUTES..IT SEEMED LIKE FOREVER TO ME......BUT SOMEONE WILL KNOW HOW LONG THEY LET US RUSH THE STAGE. WE WERE GOOD...WE BEHAVED..WE WERE REWARDED......I MUST APOLOGIZE TO THE ONES I STEPPED ON AND THANK THE ONES WHO HELPED ME.........I SAW HIS SMILE WHEN GALLINA'S MONKEY HIT THE STAGE..AND THE ROSES ALSO...OH TO BE LOVED LIKE THAT!!!!!!!!!!I MIGHT SELL MY SOUL FOR ANOTHER MOMENT LIKE THIS...THIS WAS LOVE AND BEAUTY AND MUSIC MEETING AND BURSTING EVERY BARRIER THAT MAN HAS CREATED.....OOPS..SORRY .....BUT THAT IS LEONARD'S MAGIC.........LOVE JEANNE

Hi everyone,
just got back to Genova after the concert in Firenze.
Let me say... wow! Best show I've ever seen!
During "Sisters of Mercy" the air was so sweet and magic that I think I fell in love with the silhouette of a girl sofly dancing at her apartment window on the square...
