Well, it's very hard to sex frogs unless you actually see them in amplexus, or if you hear them calling (males). Of course a quiet male could then be confused for a female...as often happens in other species.

As they say, "You'd have to have been there to appreciate it.
" As for me, even from afar, I never looked at frogs the same way again. Maybe that's why some women have such a love for collecting them. Might be interesting to see those who do and don't as a potential, symbolic parallel for their own lives.....never giving up on, at last finding the one that will turn into a prince. Those fairytales we listen to as children go deeper than we may think
