Lucky Zagreb -- I wish I could be there; Leonard Cohen (my favourite active solo artist) and Rammstein (my favourite active band) in the SAME WEEK!!!!!
(how is that for "eclectic" musical tastes!

Today's Jutarnji list, one of two leading Croatia's daily newspapers:
"Spectacle in Zagreb: Only 10,000 luckiest will see Cohen in Arena"
http://www.jutarnji.hr/na-leonarda-cohe ... ka/332906/
The title suggests that *only* 10,000 tickets will be available as Arena has to be seated (seats will be placed on the ground also) so only 10,000 people will be in luck to see one of the most prestigious live shows on Earth today.
SPEKTAKL U ZAGREBU
Na Cohena u Arenu ide samo 10.000 sretnika
Autor: Martina Kuterovac
Cijene ulaznica za koncert kreću se od 300 kuna za mjesta na gornjim tribinama, do 450 kuna za mjesto u VIP dijelu partera, a za mjesta u loži bit će potrebno izdvojiti 700 kuna.
ZAGREB - Kanadski glazbenik svjetskoga glasa Leonard Cohen, nakon brojnih koncerata održanih diljem svijeta, prvi će put nastupiti u hrvatskoj metropoli, i to u zagrebačkoj Areni, 15. ožujka iduće godine.

Iznimno utjecajan glazbenik i kantautor Zagreb će posjetiti u sklopu svoje turneje “2010”.

Thank you.
As you see, I am starting the campaign. After I went to meet-ups in Lucca and Venice and gathering in London, I think that it would be nice if some well-known Cohen fans would come to Zagreb in mid-March.
I do hope that the tour amazement isn't over now. All and final European dates are now known, and I don't see any rush as before... and all tickets are going on sale these days.

Absolutely. You can see by the pictures here that the campaign has started, especially this is one of just NINE European dates! But so far: Jarkko doesn't know (busy part of year), Henning will see, Andrea is not sure... I guess it's too early;)

Of course! From your PM, I was afraid that you are not coming, what's out of the question:)

I hope there'll be room for us lesser known fans as well! I'll be there, staying for a couple of days, then catching the train up to Ljubljana. Can't wait.
BTW I notice that you have to register on the Zagreb ticket site before you can even enter the number of tickets you want (or see the seating plan). Easiest way for me (anyway) was to pretend to buy tickets for Backstreet Boys; I then got an English language prompt to register... And no, I didn't go the whole way!

It's always like that. I registered to the Italian website, and I still get spam from them and couple of Italian websites. I also registered to eventim.hr to buy tickets for shows I never visited. The system will not let you use the credit card etc. if you're not registered member, for protection.
If you are on Eventim in your country, I will check after November 9 if the Croatian Eventim selling tickets. If yes, you can use your local Eventim account, methinks.

It's Monday, I checked. I will probably take free days, and also go to Ljubljana, when it's close & cheap. (Ljubljana-Zagreb is two-hours train, 10 times or so daily:) It also means that Friday-Tuesday I will be available for gatherings and sight-seeing tours through the city:)

Cheers Tom! Looking at your campaign now, I feel a bit embarrassed now about the lack of any campaign for the Beograd event; anyhow, some of those pics remind me very much of Novi Sad, the lovely orthodox church (home of metropolitan Jovan of SPC, the Diocese of Zagreb-Ljubljana) and the monumental Roman Catholic cathedral...

P.S. I wonder if all 10.000 seats will be sold? Judging by the number of Croats for the Belgrade concert, probably! (just next to me were sitting couple of fans from Zagreb; behind me couple of fans with a heavy Dalmatian accent, etc...)
