Musicmania, I think the original poster, Goldstei, chose those artists because he has seen them all. I agree that the role of the different artists we like is complementary rather than competitive. It ain't ever too late, John. No I didn't know about the Brian Wilson stage appearance. The connection explains some of Working on a Dream. That type of music (well I am only thinking of the Beach Boys, haven't heard any solo stuff) is not really my cup of tea, but Bruce puts his stamp on it. Try Queen of the Supermarket. A curious (but decidedly good) song: a california 60's style tune, about groceries, and including the f-word (in a line that makes the song).
