A Spirograph is a toy thingy that has gears with holes in them. You can put a gear into a bigger thing that is either circular or elliptical and then put a pen in the hole. And if you trace around and around, you can make an image like this one:

Her parents were both bad spellers. They had actually intended to give Cate a "depraved" childhood.

I had a lite brite... that's cool right?
It didn't spin, but it glowed until the light bulb burnt out.

It was really hard to follow the templates that came with it to create those glowing pictures...not that I have any first hand knowledge. Oh crap. Nevermind.

Spirograph. That's why I like the idea of that E8 theory. Because it makes the Universe look like a spirograph doodle. Now THAT's cool.

Manna - I don't think I ever told you how much I liked this.
I love what's not said in words but is so clearly felt through out the piece.

Your sonnet is brilliant manna.

I'm with A.A. on the power of the last line. It is devestatingly memorable.
And the 9th line is equally absorbing for me.

Just thinking of this poem today and thought I would float it up.

It's rare for me to come back to a poem after more than a year and not hate it. This one's not bad, eh? Did everyone know at the time that it was about ~Greg? I wonder if I will write more like this one.

I don't know if I would have thought to call it a sonnet, but in these modern times I've seen things that were totally formless that the author called a sonnet, so whatever.

I'm not surprised that it was about ~greg. Very much his subject matter and kind of thinking. Your chemo line ended up having a bitter irony.
