my cry for help gets louder,
meaning of course for you and you and you to help Jack bring Michael the help he needs. I'm willing to give it my best shot but he may be right that I would need help.
commas have a purpose. if you ask someone nicely they will explain and your confusion will all be over.

you really are the Queen of Serene,
burying that many hearts (+ mine ) makes her more like the Queen of Boheem

Oh no Mat, I would never want to bury your heart - it's a lovely heart filled with curiosity and kindness (I won't say nice)
come on lets go get the Ace of spades and see if we can dig it up -
now I'm glad I kept that card.
I don't think I would like to be the queen of anything - I should never be placed in charge of hearts or knees (
although that queen was the queen of heaven ) or anything in between.

Thank you - you.
I
do like you both very much - with no despites and no althoughs, I like you as you are.
I wonder if you've noticed that people who like one of you, often like the other as well - I'm not sure why, that's just how it is.
xx

hmmm, that is not invariably so.
for example, I like myself very much but barely like Jack at all.

that's why I used often as a qualifier. The great thing about qualifiers is that you can almost say practically anything and it will mostly be true.
It wasn't much of a point to be honest, I was just feeling a bit awkward and I wanted to mention that there's a few of us here who are very fond of both you and Jack.

Hi Cate
I have some thoughts about why that is so. I could be wrong but if you have an interest in knowing my thoughts on the matter I am certainly not shy or timid about telling them. If you prefer to be told privately I can do that too.
Warning not for Lions - close to talking about dispreaching

Well Jack I think I've mentioned before that sometimes I like a question more then an answer (Mat can vouch for that).
For me this feelings stuff is back of the head stuff/innate instinctual stuff. I know that you can probably see the pattern or the trend here, but for me I'd rather leave it to the back of my head. It knows all that I need to know in this regard - I like you and I like the man who's writing for the lion without any althoughs or despites.

oh, the very idea that you would ever be shy of sharing your thoughts. but what a conflict for you, you want to tell us everything about your brilliant mind and yet you once bought a book entitled "How to be Charismatic for the Over 70's", and that leads you repeatedly to pose these little teasers, "oooh, I have something to say, it's really really interesting, if you ask I will tell you but i won't just tell you straight out or then you wouldn't find me charismatic or even interesting, I would just be like a normal person then".
I realise I am in the minority here and I am sure you already have had 735 requests for private information about your thoughts.
I am going to start an on-line petition
We, the Undersigned, want to ask Jack about his thoughts on many subjects. We accept that in his pursuit of appearing interesting it is not possible for him to share straight away. It's absolutely right that he should continue to post grandiose notices of his availability for work, ooops, we mean sharing of philosophy.

der knight of many names
Do you not think this turn of events has a bit of a funny side? Do you remember the time I asked you to truthfully answer one very simple question. I pleaded with you, I begged you, I made a complete fool of myself trying to get you to answer that question. I think i even offered you money. I was willing to behave in terrible ways to get you to answer that question. I gave you my word that there was no trick involved, that in no way would it cause you any harm or embarrassment and no matter what I said you refused my request.
Are you ready to reconsider?
The diamonds under his knees
thanks for keeping that line in my sight. There was something about it that I felt needed improvement. I am changing it to
by buckyballs on his knees
that is intelligent, sweet and funny at least to me.
and der knight of many names, if you still do not want to answer my question, maybe you can answer another
why did you do it?
was there 100 lawyers before you that told those greenpeace people that they should go to jail before they got to you?
why did you think the lesson should be that one can break the law, trespass against others and then get away with it with the help of a rotten lawyer?
was it the money or because you wanted to have your name associated with that enormous phallic symbol?
and with an interesting twist of fate it seems that those coal fire plants produce a very ample amount of buckyballs which had nothing to do with why I am using buckyballs in my song

your post brings me a terrible memory of a terrible song which includes the line "oh, the night has a thousand eyes".
I am content for you to call me "The Knight of A Thousand Names" or simply Sir.
I do remember many years ago your persistent request for me to answer one question. I declined because you only asked in "public", because you only asked in a calculatedly obscure way, because I am so turned off by your studied attempts to appear charismatic. As I explained then, all you have to do if you have a question that is important to you for me to answer then just email me or send a pm. You don't need an audience.
Greenpeace- we relied on a statutory defence. they didn't break the law. I always thought we would win. delighted to represent them, absolutely lovely people and for me a stimulating change from representing defendants accused of terrorism or other murders.

Lion...
Lion Mike, with all due respect, it seems that you have a lot of fun terrorising some of us, particularly your happy dart-board, Jack.
That may be good therapy for you and indeed you may go nuts if you don’t have some form of outlet; so your friend here supports your needs that are becoming more and more apparent.
The British are noted for their clever wit and you are a master. That being said, I think you are a bit hard on some of your friends here who look to support as well as entertain each other. And, in my opinion, you are not really doing yourself any favours when you kick and kick and kick remorselessly.
I enjoy your intellect and your enthusiasm, but I (ownership of suggestion) suggest you bin the jack-boots for awhile.
Karate-kick a punching bag or take a morning jog or play squash and take your anxiety out on the ball.
.......Healthy options for any terrorist....
Mat.

Dear Mat
with all due respect I am the one person who has given permission to Michael to through his darts my way. As a matter of fact you can look back through the usenet group and find a post of mine called "Take your best shot" and it came with an assurance that I wouldn't be shooting back. If he has a need to do such things then he has a need. That is not my business.
Some others here have seen a peculiar painting that was done from a picture of me and I thought it might amuse you and so i will place it here.
The numbers are not like the usual numbers. They spell something out. It is in french.
I am a lot happier since that painting was made. I am a lot smaller now.
