Cate, if you are still around can you listen to this song so I can have the counterbalance to Geoffrey's self-basting wank opinion.
how do you know I'll agree with you - maybe I thought it was dreadful!

- - -

Well to be honest Geoffrey - I just listened to twice and I found it smooth and sweet - a nice sensual feel to it. I'm not sure what self-basting wanking is (nor do I want to my new knowledge from Wiki prince albert piercing is quite enough)- but I'm sure it would be fine music for that - whatever that is.

Okay I better get ready - I unlike the Lion am working today and work today basically will consist of holding people down and then having them hold me down so I need to make sure I have something comfy to wear.

Hi L of L, Tinders and Cate.. while I have been known to sing upon occasion this is not me, but youtube on its more homey side.. (Tinders check out Colonial Suicide, you'll see I have this, uh, fanciful tendency to somehow believe I'm the performers I'm posting.. must be the story teller in me..).. But yes, I thought this woman quite lovely and that she was doing the harmony so very nicely.. Maybe some day I will record myself singing and post it here and we'll see how I fare..

not exactly dostoevsky! please no more - spare us.

have you listened to the song yet?

I am told by Jarrko that Dostoevsky gave you a first edition copy of the book he wrote all about you back in 1868. How much do you think your signed copy of The Idiot is now worth?

yes, it was actually very enjoyable; i liked it a lot.

>I am told by Jarkko that Dostoevsky gave you a first edition . . .

Jarkko was probably just fooling around. Have you read anything by Dostoevsky? It can be a bit difficult to read, so I would not blame you if you had not. Nice to hear from you.

I felt you were moving too fast in our relationship. I remember sending you a postcard from a Leonard Cohen Event as recently as 9 years ago. You have never sent me anything back except tzuris but once you overcome your natural reserved personality I think we should consider moving on to telepathy next year.

Then in 2047 I will reconsider your plea to be your Facebook friend.

You set up a fake ID on Facebook with a photoshopped weird faced female as your troll pic. You pretended she was a Cohen fan. How many people fell for it? I was wondering because there is a fake Leonard Cohen out there as well and I wondered if it was you.

ps if you can see right through me, what did I have for breakfast?

pps obviously, I am once again having you for a snack

not easy to keep up with your editing, but it looks like you remembered it is the Sabbath and you have removed the pretend hostility from your post above. Most of what I wrote above was in response to the writing you ahve now removed.

The Blue Melody on youtube is a little twee, the album version I have is a lot better because it shows Tim Buckley's voice off more.

I just heard a Radio 4 prog. about Hallelujah, not just the Cohen song about which I now feel saturated but the use of it in song generally, choral, classical, a little other popular music. Fantastic listening. The presenter wrote a piece for the programme as she researched it and chose a Hebrew variation,. If you can get BBC Listen Again in Oslo go for it.

it was the 50th of a former Tory MP, so you can imagine what fun I had!

I am currently sinning by watching Andy Murray on the TV instead of working.

Have a great day, Tinds

hei. i returned to my previous post and corrected a small typing mistake at almost precisely the same moment as your poisonous response. had i known your reaction to my message would be such a tirade of accumulated bitterness i might never have sent it. as far as i can remember i have always shown you the deepest respect, and will continue to do so. i know you have a lot of problems that result in you occasionally needing a scapegoat to attack - and therefore i make allowances. having studied psychology i am fully aware that getting 'back on an even keel' after a mental collapse can take time, but these outbursts of lies and sarcasm from you in my direction neverthless make me recoil. do you have the strength of character to apologise?

ha ha ha! you big ninny, your gamble here is that no-one else saw your original post. I think your lie about returning to correct a small typing mistake is rather endearing. your trick of altering a post to "distort" a reply is hardly original and falls way short of your usual level of sophistication in trolling.

when you say "deepest" respect does that mean there has never been anyone else whom at any time you have respected more? That would be seriously worrying.

I have booked my mental collapse for the week after next so your chronology is all of a muddle.

I have absolutely no strength of character but if I ever get any you'd be way down the queue for compensation.

btw I'm still curious to know how many you caught with your facebook scam.

I win (as usual!).

Dear lion no offense but your starting to sound a bit paranoid.

on an unrelated note I just wanted to apologize if my behaviour seemed odd earlier

when you greeted me and went to take my hand
and I clasped my hands behind my back and said Eeeh!!!
well I think you might have misunderstood - you see that's just a Canadian custom - you were suppose to guess how many fingers I had (you might assume 10 but common frostbite here makes the game a bit more interesting)

as well when you offered to make me a sandwich and I responded O god no!
again that Canadian thing - I didn't want you to go to any trouble with your hands - I mean, I wanted to give you a hand - I mean I wasn't hungry ...

no offence take, you can't be right all the time! what I wrote was pretty ordinary, paranormal not paranoid. what Geoffrey originally wrote was a swearing rant including the fact that he has invited me 3 times to be his Facebook friend and I have declined each time.

anyway, 'tis tiny. have a brilliant week

Dear Lion

I'm thinking Geoffrey must have went through a few different edits. In the one I read you only pretended to wash your hands after using the bathroom - you'd go to the lengths of turning on the water and letting it run just to trick people. you also apparently only use a tissue if somebody is around, the rest of the rest of the time you just blow into your hands. There was some other things too, but I can't remember - what I read was silly, no one would actually think you did these things.
I don't think swearing at somebody or calling them out of name (unless you're a very good friend) is funny or acceptable. It's way of striking out at somebody in a personal way, often with an intent to inflict pain or control their actions in some way.

I had assumed that we had read the same post and that you'd see the joke (my attempt at a joke) about you being paranoid. Okay and how nice are you not to comment on how weird it was to pretend to go to your house and refuse to eat sandwiches.

be brilliant again this week.

yes, i could hardly have put it more succinctly myself. if you ask me he seems to be losing it again, but he has a lot of pressure at work, so i hear. my sister has an office just down the corridor from his, you know. anyway, to put the record straight: i do have a 'facebook' account, and some time ago did actually receive a couple invitations from him to be his friend. he turned on the charm and was ever so nice, and i know my polite refusal hurt him. i seldom turn people on facebook away, especially those who have managed to acquire very few friends, but felt it wouldn't be fair on my family members and old school-pals to put them in close proximity with a stalker. so i declined his offer, and i think that is what all of this is about. i have only ever had the one facebook account, by the way - the rest is part of his delusionary illness. ask yourself: who out of michael and geoffrey likes to invent multiple identities? answer that and i think you will know who is the more truthful and balanced of us two.
