When I got the list, I looked at it with 2 musician friends and we collectively figured out most of how it works.
To the left of the list is the key in which the song will be played (i.e. key of E or F, etc.). If there's more than one song listed in a slot (i.e. see the circled "Miracle" -- then you need to look to the right side to find what key in which it will be played.
As for the rest of the songs listed on the right hand side that are NOT listed as an alternative song on the left, my guess is that they might be contemplated added songs or to change it up a little. If a decision is made, the key is available to the musicians.
I could be way off, anyone else have thoughts?

Interesting the "full bow" and "short bow" notations. I also love the abbreviated "Don't Make Junk".

This annotated setlist belonged to the guitar/bass guitar/harp technician in Leonard's road crew. "Upright" and "fretless" refer to Rossy Beck's instruments as required on specific songs. The technician has highlighted the songs when he needs to carry on a specific instrument and plug it in etc.

I took approximately 70 photos at the San Diego show, and only a few at the second L.A. show. They are all posted on my myspace page - myspace.com/31332010 - in two separate pictures files. Also on there are the photos i took the second night in Toronto last year. (For those who care, the San Diego show was the best concert i've ever attended in my life.)

Well there's no topic for the Oakland shows so I was going to post a few comments here. I went the first and third nights after seeing 3 shows in Australia (Adelaide, Hunter Valley and Bowral). The Aussie shows were "A Day On The Green" outdoor festivals with great opening bands and "large" sound systems, screens, etc. It was pretty fantastic once I got over the lack of intimacy I hoped for. The Bowral show was my favorite.
The Oakland shows were great too, but way more subtle. I could have used a notch or two more volume and I was in row F on the 15th. It was great to here Waiting For A Miracle both nights, and Lullaby the first night. I felt like Leonard was starting to show some affects from the lengthy tour, though. He wasn't as crip as he was at the Aussie shows. Also, the show on the 15th was cut short by a couple songs. I question the wisdom of scheduling that third night in a row.
I *really* wanted to see them play "That Don't Make It Junk," but they played it on the night I didn't go!
I did meet everyone in the band in the foyer before the show, save for Neil and Leonard (and Sharon, who I had met along with Dino in Adelaide at a Jeff Beck Concert). All in all it was great. Big thanks to Leonard, the band, and this great website.

So I just saw the Seattle show last night... AMAZING!!! First time I've ever seen Leonard so I'm still kind of on cloud nine. I tried to write down the set list as best I could but was unfamiliar with a few of the songs. Below is what I came up with and hopefully someone can help me fill in the rest? It does look like a similar list to some of the other shows. Cheers!

It was an amazing concert, and I regret not keeping track of the setlist. My additions are in red, as best as I can remember, but my memory of the encores I'm sure is wrong. I hope that someone took notes and jump in with corrections. The encores are similar to the LA dates posted above. He definitely did not play "Closing Time" or "That Don't Make It Junk". "I Tried to Leave You" may have started the second encore.
Additional information, concert began at about 8:07 PDT, intermission began at 9:15, second set began at 9:40, and the concert ended at 11:10.

25. Closing Time
You sure you don't confuse Closing Time with Democracy? It is reported here:
viewtopic.php?f=32&t=14588&st=0&sk=t&sd=a
that Democracy was also played. and I think someone in this thread said he left Closing Time out. It's a more reasonable ommision then Democracy, which LC seems to really like (didn't it close a festival show lately?)
