Sacha Baron Cohen and Leonard Cohen, though I think SBC almost looks more like young Dustin Hoffman.

There is also this guy... I think I can safely say Womanfromaroom agrees with me on this that there are some striking similarities.

1. the style of music (a kind of klezmer vibe going on)
2. the nose (ok so the teeth are a bit off)
3. The hairline.
4. The chuckle at 0:26

Indeed! Maybe Leonard's overall performance is a little less - extrovert, but no less enthusiastic...

Ha ha that is so funny, The Count is my grand daughters fave character in the world and she says ah ah ah when she sees him.
I play Leonard in the house and she hears him all the time, no wonder she loves him, so yes burningviolin, I can see the similarities

Last December there was a thread asking for suggestions as to who could play Leonard in a biopic.

I suggested Mark Ronson - not only does he physically resemble a young LC, and in the way he dresses,but also in his manerisms and overall demeanor.
He was born September 4th 1975.

months ago i was in a local book store in cottbus, germany
with a close friend of mine - she' s also a huge fan of mr.cohen but she doesn' t have an eye on german politics.
she saw a book with a picture of henning scherf, former mayor of bremen, on it and she asked me:
"what is leonard cohen doing on there?"

Actually I thought your Anthony Bourdain looked like Jeremy Clarkson and Burning Violin I thought your Telly Savalas looked like Mike Reid. I think Dustin Hoffman is the closes to him and Ron Paul looks nothing like him. Mark Ronson has a slight resemblance as does Sasha Baron Cohen and Maulwurf I have no idea who Henning Scherf is but our Henning has more of a resemblance to Leonard that Mr Scherf does
