But can anyone tell me please whether I am correct in assuming that 10 o'clock New York time is 5 o'clock pm in Germany or 4 pm in England?

Womanfromaroom....there is a 5 hour difference btwn New York and London and 6 hours btwn NY and Germany, so be positioned at your computer about 16h on Monday!

***Yes, that's how I calculated it: 10 pm Eastern Standard Time = 3 pm Greenwich Mean Time (also in UK) = 4 pm Central European Time (Germany etc) = 5 pm Eastern European Time (Finland etc.) / Jarkko
