I went to a family wedding where they used "Always" from The Future as their first song. It went over very well - hard to dance to tho.

Hi pmsaari ~
Welcome to the Forum

! That's the song my own parents had sung at their wedding ~ of course, not the Leonard Cohen rendition

. They lived out its words, too

. Was that family wedding what brought you to Leonard? Or do you have two [rare, rare!] Cohen appreciators within one, extended family?

tx for the welcome lizzy
There's a lot of Lenny fans in the family (a bit ominous, eh? lol) so I was introduced when I was a kid when my dad bought I'm Your Man. We're finn, and I get the impression that finns have some kind of genetic soft spot for him? haha
Anyhow, the more I think about it, the better an idea playing LC at a wedding sounds. The "thinking man's Barry White" ?? (no dis to Mr. White.)

A Finn living in Ontario, eh? So, I guess you never get bored at family gatherings

! If your Dad introduced you to him via "I'm Your Man," it sounds as though you're relatively young

.
Now, Barry White [thinking or otherwise] would never have occurred to me. Hmmm........
