Yes, I saw that animal! What was it? Anything like a Dutch celebrity?
When I get to the Oberhausen event, I'll certainly bring him a rose; I have doubts about the chocolates though! I might easily end up eating them myself before the encores in raptures with Leonard's music during the concert ... :D

Haven't seen an animal like that before. It was a crossing between Alf and Blue Bird from Sesame Street. Leonard was very happy with it.
Luckily I could still get tickets for front row in Oberhausen.

Lucky indeed! i envy you, Maurice; I am in one of the blocks behind yours, still "Innenraum", though! I'll try sneak out there towards the end and bring my gift (whatever it will be) to the stage! You are in a perfect place for giving one, too, I suppose... ;-)

Front row in Copenhagen, but in Oberhausen row V. Should be good enough though. Can't complain. Leave the gifts for the ladies. :D Although I can give a cd with current music influenced by Leonard Cohen.

I also saw the stuffed animal - was like a blue dragon of some sort - we were laughing as the look on LC's face was great - sort of smiled and just kept holding onto it

Was great!

In Copenhagen I threw onto the stage an "open sandwich" which was rye bread, with herring and lettuce, and a little bit of mustard and remoulade. Leonard stopped mid-song and ate it!

On the 3rd night at Manchester I was lucky to have front row middle seats and with a group of 4 others, we each had a single (not long) stemmed red rose - I had meant to get a bouquet from the station on my way to Manchester but I forgot. At any rate I threw the rose after he sang the line from Everybody Knows. It landed at Leonard's foot, he picked the rose and held it until the end of thje song. We ended up throwing 3 more roses to LC and one towards the Webb sisters, which Charley placed in her hair next to her ear. For more details on the 2 Manchester gigs and Glastonbury I've written my thoughts under the thread 'Random Lenny Thoughts After Manchester and Glastonbury' in the Leonard Cohen's Music section within The Music Place.

I also read that on the 2nd night at Manchester someone left an orange and a teabag on stage! I wish I had thought of that
