I'm sorry I won't be able to see the Gore Vidal event.
If this is to be an annual event, I hope that Edmunton and it align such that neither need be missed. I would have loved to have been able to see much more of what's going on with Luminato... but Hydra calls.
I know
exactly how you feel, Margaret! Have been feeling the same for awhile, reading about everything that's been going on in Europe. I'm glad to hear that you'll be coming to Hydra

Last minute decision here to attend the Saturday's Opera. I only had a chance to skim the 10 pages of this thread, but is anybody here attending on Saturday? I am unable to make today's performance as I live in Ottawa...
Also, what is the schedule for the gathering, specifically, anything planned on Saturday night?

Thanks for the reply Dick,
yes, unfortunately I had to settle for Saturday's opera, and I was too late to secure tix for the conversation.
But I will be at the gallery at or soon soon after opening, so I will perhaps seek you guys out.
Cheers,
pawel

Better late than never they say.......
Here is a slideshow of Linds's photos from our great gathering in Toronto. As always, it was way too short a time but we thoroughly enjoyed the singing and carousing with our Cohen friends.

Hi Pawel ~
The conversation was magnificent. Not to say that the opera wasn't. I'm hoping that someone, somehow, got the conversation on dvd or some other form of permanent record. I'd love to have a copy. At this point, I'd settle for a transcript.
