Escuché a Leonard Cohen en Señal 90. ¿Qué está pasando? ¿El mundo está volviéndose un mejor lugar? ¿Alineándose, los planetas están?
I listened to Leonard Cohen on Channel 90. What's happening? Is the world turning into a better place? Are the planets aligning themselves?

Not ALL the Cohen-related tweets have to do with the O2 show.

So acoustic renditions of old school Metallica were being played during Leonard Cohen's interval. So rad.
That time I inadvertently sent my dad a litho of a nude woman. As a gift. For Father's Day. But by the hand of Leonard Cohen! Oh well.

I just hope nobody buys concert tickets for the moggies; don't want Leonard's cat allergy hitting him mid-performance.

We go along thinking that someone will sing "I'm Your Man" to us in the voice of Leonard Cohen, but at most they dedicate something by Camela to you in a karaoke.
Leonard Cohen name-checks not only his band members but technical crew too. Good manners, right and proper, and rare.

Persuaded daughter to go to bed by reading aloud from a Leonard Cohen biography.
Josh Is My Man RT @joshgreenman: Who by New York Times? RT @jasonfelch: NYT kills Leonard Cohen, resurrects him a day later with correction
Leonard Cohen, 78 years old, held an audience of 15000 people in awe for 3 hours, getting old like that I sign for it immediately. Chapeau x
I decided to experiment with Google-translating tweets in a language I don't know. The first experiment (in Dutch, as one would expect from Antwerp) paid off in spades:
Leonard Cohen live = wauw. 78 jaar en zo dartel als een hertje op een frisse lenteochtend.
Leonard Cohen live =wow. 78 years and as frisky as a deer on a crisp spring morning.
And this wasn't too bad either:
Nog nooit een wereldster zoveel respect weten tonen voor zijn entourage. En wat een performance! #LeonardCohen @sportpaleis

Thanks for these tweets Helen. It's a shame that you feel that you can only put your found tweets from various concerts only on this site. I really liked when they were pit in the actual concert review topic.

Warmest regards,
Mary

Thank you, Mary. The negative reaction was pretty strong, so I figured why continue to inflame anyone's sentiments? If they don't like them, they can just avoid this topic.

I really liked the "frisky as a deer on a crisp spring morning" one.

The Fisher is a University of Toronto library which holds some papers from various authors such as M. Atwood and Leonard, or were you referring to the tweet before this one?

I was referring to the previous one. Reading the unpublished prose of Leonard Cohen in a library merely fills me with envy, not bafflement.

Listening to Leonard Cohen on vinyl as I draw, sitting cross legged on the floor. This is exactly what I did in my early 20s. Haha...
it would make me really happy if leonard cohen fixed all his 80s songs to sound less 80s
Leonard Cohen, éso que duele.
Leonard Cohen, that's what hurts.
Leonard Cohen saying "naked" on a scratchy old record - swoon. Tom Robbins was right - no one says naked like Leonard Cohen.
Ready to share something that my friends IRL know: my mom passed away 2 weeks ago after a hospice stay. Very tough time w/ mixed emotions.

Ring the bells that still can ring. Forget your perfect offering. There is a crack in everything - that's how the light gets in.

that quote is beautiful. Where is it from?

Leonard Cohen's Anthem. It has been a meditation for many years.
