I didn't "only join yesterday". I've been a member for 6-12 months. But to be truthful, my reason for joining initially was indeed to get tickets. So sue me.

I signed up using this screen name yesterday. I did this because I wanted to try for KC tickets which went on sale during the work day. I thought I might need to reply to a confirmation e-mail of some sort and I can't access my home e-mail from work (facist websense!).
In retrospect I didn't have to do this. Oh well, just covering my bases. And I got tickets, good ones. Which I will use Nov 9th in KC. Hope to see some of you there.

Thanks Tom,

I hope the individual involved can somehow be located. This seems to be the second time it has happened.
Appreciate your assistance.

The old saying proves true of "you can't write comedy like this." I loved the mods and some members' responses here. You guys kept your cool better than I would have!
Reading your post made me think you've been around here for a while. Maybe some of us keep our cool because we remember how fearful it was to make that first post and just maybe, one or two of us have asked a stupid question in the past and have been treated with kindness. Welcome to the forum and hope to hear more from you.

Best regards,
Mary

Wendy,

You are so right in all you say. In addition to all that, what I've noticed is a very large number of newly registered and first posters on the Buy, Sell, Trade thread. Geez, do we think these are true fans  ? I for one, would not buy a ticket from that person, even thought they are 'members'.

Best regards,
Mary

Wendy,
I have to admit it has crossed my mind: I've been trying to be helpful to people who are looking for the correct thread, or who are confused. But I have begun to wonder why people seem to persist in asking the same questions as previous posters without reading the previous questions or the answers to those questions.
The thing that really bothers me is the way that the passwords have been posted onto other blogs and places outside of the forum. I guess it's one of the hazards of an online community, but it really bugs me that there would be people on the forum who would do that: it seems so at odds with the spirit of this whole enterprise.
Take care,
Sue

Well, Mary... I've been around here for awhile and I'M sure not keeping MY COOL    !!!

I've been doing what [it turns out, though I hadn't read her posting] Sue suggested about doing trial runs! I used Asheville.

It allowed me to check the "Print Your Own Tickets" box. I guess because that Pre-Sale is long gone, when I go to buy tickets today, I should just AUTOMATICALLY check the "Pick up at Venue" box, right?? Just need some confirmation of common sense here    !!!

My hands are freezing and moist at the same time ~ go figure... and I have a HUGE KNOT in my stomach. I HATE this kind of TECHNO STRESS!!!

Of course, please answer ASAP here!

Thanks  :) .

Lizzy, worry not. When you buy during the pre-sale your only option is "will call" (or Canadian will call/ International will call). The "Print your own" option will simply not be there.

Lizzy, you have just made my day!   Yes, will-call only for the presale!

Here I'm sitting with sweaty palms and butterflies in the stomach, and thinking you must be so cool because I hadn't seen any post from you today!

Take care and let us know how you do!

With supreme anxiety and I don't even go into TM for over 3 hours!

Jarkko said that the forum presales had seats in all prices. Maybe you should keep trying???
Good luck.
