Whoops, Margaret ~ I didn't mean to ignore you on your question  ~ as you can see from our posting times, I never saw it! I use the second method that Paula has described, which is the explanation I'd have given you. I hope you can get the hang of it. It wasn't that long ago that I learned how to use it, too :? ~ what a time-saver 8) [as you already know  ].

Great Paula ~ It won't be long for you, I assure you....and now, I think I have the hang of the Quote option, thanks to your asking :D !

thanks Paula, and Lizzy, that's another tip to write down in my little notebook. When I don't do much on my computer I never get enough practice and have to shout my son for help every time :!: The keyboard on my little portable computer has a different layout than my old standard pc, which makes things even more confusing

Lizzie I had a go and it went horribly wrong. I tried to "quote" a small amount of text and it didn't want to leave its mate and brought the whole lot with it. I need more time to sort it out

Until I can say "I'll practiced every night now I'm ready" 8)

 ~ Oh G~d, Paula, I'm laughing.......just block off what you want [only], and then place the cursor inside the blue, blocked area. Tee-hee use of Leonard's line  .

Good luck ol' chum  !

Love,

"I'll practiced every night now I'm ready"
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS    Cheers for that Lizzie.

I have just noticed I have mis-quoted Leonard. "I've practiced every night now I'm ready" I was obviously not ready at the first attempt in more ways than one
