No one has mentioned (at the very beginning of the video) -

Dino's "stare at the plate" - the "windup" - and then the pitch - straight down the center for a strike - that morphs into some cool finger snapping as Leonard takes the stage!

And I agree Undertow - everyone of these musicians and singers are "mindblowingly good."

And many of us agree! A lot of the credit for assembling this extraordinary troupe goes to Roscoe
Beck. An article a while back in Uncut.uk with Roscoe describes the early process. One recollection by Roscoe sums it up.

When we were hiring, his only instructions to me where: “Rossie” – that’s what he calls me sometimes – “I only want the best band on the road this year.” No pressure, then.

oh my GOSH I didn't even see the pitching thing because I watched the video once, then just kept going back to the Javier-dissing-Leonard part!

Certainly one of the top five Great Dino Moments.

Linda, thanks SO much for catching Dino's windup and pitch at the start....fabulous! I agree with Esther that has to be one of the top "Dino" moments!

As crazy as this sounds, I've come to have a "family" feeling to all those on stage. We've followed them day by day for well over a year now...read probably thousands of articles and reviews (I never bought Uncut or Mojo before this year

)...watched hundreds of youTubes...gone to countless concerts...become addicted to the Forum (and so addicted that we've even started our own LC forum group on Facebook

)...spent hours going over Joey's photos on flickr...we've twittered and tweeted...and forged wonderful friendships!

When the tour does come to an end, we can eagerly await Leonard's new songs and new album and new tour (well, maybe not), but we still have the other family members to follow on the concert circuit. Dino, Roscoe, Bob, Javier, Neil, Sharon and the Webb sisters! Whew...

And Diana, maybe we'll have Fred soon also, seeing as he is now practicing the harp (maybe to free up Hattie for more acrobatics). Although he has a way to go to catch up to Lorca's little guy.

As always, our Dino is incredible!

As we all know, everyone is incredible...especially Leonard. However, when the concert tour finally ends in San Jose (at this point I don't even want to acknowledge the possibility

), we will then have many talents and musicians to follow! Leonard will work on an album and then perhaps do a few cozy concerts in wonderful warm venues. Anjani may possibly tour. We will have Dino in LA....Roscoe alternating between LA and Austin....and we will have to keep an eye on Javier, Bob, Neal, and Raf (

). Then there is Sharon and possible concerts...ditto for the Webb sisters! Somehow I think we might keep ourselves occupied

.

And always..there are Joey's photos...

Dino....I hope you appreciate how much we like you! You've given us smiles and laughter! For the younger ones perhaps a few heart "thumps", and for those of us a little more matured (as in fine wines), an appreciation of the joy you bring to your music...and, oh what the heck, perhaps a few "thumps" too

You've developed a loyal fan club!

Very nice Mary...

I love watching his energy during concerts...the rapport he has with Leonard....and his wonderful smiles! From his Facebook and Twitter a special man emerges....very much into family, friends, and his music. We would expect no less from the group that surrounds Leonard! They are all quite awesome.

Just re-read the "love watching his energy during concerts".....hell....he gets me laughin', movin', and groovin'
