Another very anxious fan here......I think our anxiety comes from
1. the terror of leonard appearing in Dublin and not being at it
2. prior experience of ticket-bloody-master

Howdy all,
I'm getting very anxious now, like everyone! Think i may drive to limerick tmrw am early, as its the closest ticketmaster office - i'm terrified my mobile broadband will let me down tomorrow. I phoned them today, they said they reckon there'd be a huge queue for tickets as they've had an a huge increase in phone calls to the store this week regarding the concert - fuck, why didn't i go in this evening and sleep overnight on the street - ahem! cos its Limerick and i wouldn't be safe, thats why (and i'm a Limerick woman saying that - lest anyone take offence!)

hi there, may I ask why ? Ticketmaster is, to the best of my knowledge, the only option for me, since I live in France and am absolutely coming to Dublin for the show...
now you got me all worried !
Sorry, I didn't mean to alarm anyone ! I should have said that I feel more secure in the knowledge that I can queue as early as possible, hand over the cash and walk away with tickets in my pocket (and get seats that are just as good). I've had experiences in the past where I didn't recieve email notification about upcoming gigs when I was supposed to, and when they eventually sent the tickets out they came by un-registered mail, in a little envelope with a window - so anybody could see the contents. But that's just my preference - don't worry, I'm sure things will be fine for you. 8)

Hi Folks,

Like you all I am very apprehensive of not getting tickets to the concert in Dublin. I've been a fan for 20 years and have never seen the great man in person. I loved "Came so far for Beauty" at the Point, and hate to think that the yuppies/trendies who filled the Point will get to see Leonard and I won't.

However I've been reflecting on this and think how absurd Leonard would find the idea of fretting over concert tickets. This is the man who stoically accepted and shrugged off his financial woes in recent years. If we have learned anything from the wise words and noble life of Mr. Cohen, it is not to take things so seriously, be kind to others and enjoy the beauty of life.

That said I will be on the net tomorrow morning and will be very upset if I don't get a ticket! Best of luck to you all, and isn't it great to see so much interest in the work of Leonard.

Sunset pic is taken at Lake Winnepesaukee in New Hampshire, US. Have family there, it's a beautiful place. :)

Praying to God (the Gods, all of them!) for tickets tomorrow, best of luck to one and all on this site.
