In the naughty room,
they keep the naughty stuff. (I
don't go there, of course.)

Don't go there, of course
I've lost my invitation

Hello LOL. What happened with you and the Infinite Haiku? Shortly before the thread "died" you were posting spectacular haiku and seemed to be having fun.

'she'? I always thought this thread was a guy. I would have been more discreet if I'd known I was writing to a tired old lady...

that's very kind of you to say so, but those contributions were a mild distraction from my main tasks in Life (running again after knee ops, saying "Irish wristwatch" 6 times in a row, Saving the World etc.)
I believe that this thread is responsible for more sudden deaths than even Jack's writing.
take the last last line
"some think it's chat" , this could be followed by witty, imaginative, unexpected twisty lines, but will it?
ok time me
starting 14.44 GMT
how about
some think it's chat
aloo papri chat, spicy
fine Indian food
some think it's chat
lines which ruin home sex life
phones engaged, then wed
("engaged" is your "busy" for phones)
some think it's chat
some think it's shit, haiku thread
bores eternally
some think it's chat
but it's my stunning good looks
causing desire
some think it's chat
some think it's a hat, how odd
conceptually
ok, I've had enough,
and so have you
the time is now
14.52

FForgive me I ignored your recent surgery. I certainly hope your return to running is successful. But I must admit I was a bit concerning about what your health system put you through. Imagine them making you run after knee ops just so you can run after knee ops.

the running is my choice.
the health system insists I say "Irish wristwatch" 6 times or they will deliberately break both my knees and then force me to write haiku all day.
