"When in disgrace with fortune and
men's eyes,
I,
all alone
be-weep my outcast state
and trouble deaf heaven with
my bootless cries
and look upon myself and curse
my fate..."

just weak.
These verses come to mind:
I walked into a hospital
Where none was sick and none was well
When at night the nurses left
I could not walk at all
One morning, I woke up alone
The hospital and the nurses gone
Have I carved enough, my Lord?
Child, you are a bone
Here's hoping you will be up walking, carving (drawing), and chatting with your fans very soon.
However, do what the nurses tell you, whether they are there or not.
Best wishes,
Alan

I walked into a hospital
Ouch!! It’s made of brick
I was fine before I came
but now I’m feeling sick
Lie back, it's just a little prick.
Have I carved enough, My Lord?
Child- just use your phone

am home. said i wanted to go home, no strength, fever, after two weeks with no food can't tell difference almost between reality and delirium. but it does feel like body is slowly shutting down. don't think i will be writing more for while. sweating and out of breath.

Take care, Geoffrey, and hopefully you have some home-care available to help you through this. When you get your strength back, we'll be here. In the meantime, you have my thoughts and best wishes.

thank you for the pictures, the crippled bird and the pink tulips. they provided something much better to look at than the ceiling. i am very touched by the concern given to me.
today might be seen as a little step forward. after two weeks of isolation and intensive care, this 'doodle' book is being abused again - a small sign of recovery?

Now that’s a good sign, Geoffrey
I do feel you are on the mend!
You know, art is always a healer of mind and body.

Most of your favourite films are rather dark. I have seen all of those films: some of them I enjoyed immensely and have seen more than once, some of them I liked enough that I enjoyed watching them once but wouldn't go out of my way to see them again, and many of them I wish I'd never seen at all, for I seriously disliked them. For the most part, I would have a different list -- mine would be much brighter overall (but still with a bit of darkness here and there).
