coming from London it will be Piccadilly, which is about a 10 min walk from the gallery, maybe 15 mins depending on your speed
Secretchord - would speed not get you there faster? and in better spirits?

For those of you who are coming or thinking of coming
If you have not got an invite please do not come you will not get in
You must have rsvp'd to the address on the invite already - if you haven't sorry but you won't be able to get in
Please don't try to rsvp without an invite we know who has invites and again you won't be able to get in
These are strict rules please don't come and try to get around the security.
Please remember this is a fine art gallery show. It is not a fan meet and greet, or a signing session. Leonard will not be signing any books, cd's, photographs or anything else that you might bring, so please do not bring them and try to get anything signed. It will not be allowed and you will be asked to leave.
Hope that makes sense to everyone.
Best
RGG

I love Leonard's art work.
The prices aren't that high for a piece of original work. You only need to walk around an "art fair", to see what ridiculous high prices there are for some very dull, uninspiring pieces of work.
That is quite true actually. I remember going to the MoMa (Museum of Modern Art) in NYC and in addition to some fabulous stuff they also had really ridiculous things that they call art. It was such a traumatic experience I had to move out of New York state within a month of the visit.

For information/annoyance of all attending
Richard Goodall Gallery tomorrow (me included & I am SO excited

): Queried permissible items/objects directly with the gallery, and
'NO CAMERAS'
. How do others manage to obtain photos of Leonard - surreptitious use of mobile/camera?
Have a great evening tomorrow everyone privileged/lucky enough to be going

Save the cigarette for that post exhibition moment, Paula. Might have one myself even though I don't smoke. See you there.

Hi Paula ~
I have been so good not smoked for nearly a week
Good on you!
. . . really feel I need one now
I know your nerves may
think they're winning, but you can do this... one day at a time. Unlike the London concert, this time you're going, you're really really really going... time to celebrate by not having a cigarette

.
Enjoy your great day tomorrow. The same to every other fortunate one who will be enjoying Leonard's art and him, as well

.
If I could've afforded to buy a piece, I would have. In fact, several. You'll understand when you see them. They're far more than just "acceptable decoration," but he'd never let on to that

. As it is, I've had to make do with a signed poster and two unsigned catalogues [one that shows the wear of carrying and sharing... and the other pristine]. If need be, it's worth at least asking the Gallery if they can work with you on the smaller purchases, if travel or on-the-spot money are a problem. The Drabinsky Gallery in Toronto was exceptionally gracious in doing that with me. They held the poster and another unsigned catalogue for me until I returned from my 19-day trip and got paid, again. Trying to travel with the poster and another catalogue wasn't reasonable and they were expenditures I felt more secure in leaving until I got back home.
Enjoy Leonard's art

. Enjoy Leonard

.
