Yikes! No wonder Paula was holding her head and looking away!
Hmmm, photos are lovely, but Tind's, I'm still waiting for one of your two young suitors...

Hey Tinds – Thanks for the photo of the turks! (You toyboy magnet you)
Have a great time in Barcelona – maybe that's where you're meant to meet Leonard. Be sure to wear the Magic Silver Sandals...

Hi All,
A few more photos and a few words. No names but....
How to work the volume control on an Irish chatter device....make her walk faster
Looking west to Ireland....' is that the English Channel?'
and a little more serious...
'I'm going to the top, it may take me a little longer, but I WILL get there!'

Phil if you hadn't recited so much dubious poetry at breakfast, you would never have wound her up in the first place. Nice pics of you. I got very confused on Snowdon by the number of people who brought changes of clothes up the mountain with them, just so they could look fresh for the pics (it made life difficult when trying to do a body count). Talk about vanity! Speaking of which, why do I look ten years older in my photos than I do in reality? Pete I am very impressed at the way you jumped out of that moving train onto a mountainside to run ahead and take a picture.
Bernie and all the others going - yes, have a wonderful time in Barcelona!!

Barmouth's roundhouse, built around 1830 to lock up the town's troublesome number of drunk and disorderly, with one half for men, and the other for women (there is another barred gate around the other side).
Fortunately, only one of our participants had to be contained there:

Well I did take my camera, but didn't seem to take many photos for some reason, so it's great to see everybody else's, especially now the weather is grey and cold.
Ken, you and I obviously saw the same sunset

Omg, I think I will have to keep a very low profile in Barcelona now

Judith , your photos are fabulous!
Our third day was at the spectacular Portmerion.

You've captured Portmerion very nicely Tinds:-) It's great to see everyone's photos. I have yet to post some Portmerion pics and finish writing out some memories, that'll have to wait a day or so.
Last pic for now:

Wow - all those lovely photos - and Tinderella turned out to be the shooting star in Wales. I bet she will get great offers to perform at upcoming LC fan meetups.

Well caught, H. It reminds me of that lovely gent, George, whom we met on Cadair.

I knew you'd all have a great time, and all these wonderful photos, comments, and exchanges couldn't make it clearer.
Awwww... poor, dear Paula... though, looking at the last photo of the train all but careening down the mountainside, I'm not so sure that my head wouldn't have been in the same position as yours

. Flying is actually easier than when you're somehow connected to the ground and the sense of height and danger are more real. With the real perception of distance, you become a participant rather than an observer.
I'm loving looking at all the photos and hope to read some reports, though the sense [or non-sense, as the case may be

] of it all comes through, regardless. And the one on the right doesn't look so bad, Tinderella

. In any case, they were smitten.
What a beautiful region. What a beautiful time. Millions of memories

.
