You've given the Chas Cole email address which I guess is a bit unfair on the person in question but I suggest that all of us affected email the person alerting them to TM's shoddy practice.

ps in future,if I have a choice, I will never purchase via TM again.
Thanks JohnJ for the info, its a strange one alright. Melvyn, this seems only to be a ticketmaster.uk thing. I've had no problems with Irish TM and the US TM even took back a ticket from me, for which I was very grateful! So yes, this is a pain in the backside, waiting for tickets and hopefully everything will go smoothly to get tickets at the box office if it comes to that, but it seems limited to TM UK.

Quote from ticketmaster's site: "Ticketmaster aims to dispatch tickets as soon as possible. " Well, obviously not, and we can add lying it seems to the rather long list of pretty shoddy practices which have been well documented in this forum. Can AEG be made aware of the problem and - perhaps - put some pressure on to make ticketmaster more responsible in these matters. Many people travel to LC concerts from a long distance and- surely- it is not too much to ask that we receive tickets in good time! For the life of me I cannot see what interest is served by keeping from us until the last minute our property (the tickets) which we paid for in March!!

I've written to the ACC L'pool asking them to get on to TM to say this just isn't acceptable. I wonder if most TM staff are too busy handling credits for the cancelled Michael Jackson concerts.

Well well well! I've just logged on to the TM site & for my account it now shows
"Your order has been dispatched."
About time!

Same here -- should be just enough time for the friend who looks after my affairs in the UK to forward to my dad in Liverpool!

I wondered that too but I suspect they will be playing the cash flow game with the MJ refunds. There is certainly no sign of my refund being processed per my TM account and I applied very quickly after the application forms were posted on the web. I would like to think that my refund will come through in time to cancel out the purchase I made the day before MJ died but I suspect I am more likely to receive it at the end of the month at the earliest ....
Come to think of it, there is no sign on my TM account that my Liverpool tickets have been despatched yet either. Happy days.

Just had a response from the arena -
"Good afternoon,
Thank you for your email. I have been in touch with Ticketmaster today and raised the issues you have mentioned.
They have assured me all tickets will be despatched asap.
Kind regards,"

Melvyn.

Heartfelt thanks to John J and Melvyn and anyone else who has done their best to rattle things and put pressure on Ticketmaster to get those tickets in the post. I had every faith that the tickets would arrive in time for the show but I would still rather have my tickets in hand, especially when we had to pay for them so long ago.

Good news the tickets are being despatched, I was beginning to panic a bit.
Now a question, does anyone know what time the show actually starts and also roughly what time Leonard will be on stage, I need to know what time to leave work I have a bit of a drive. Thanks

Previously in this tour, shows started on time (or within 10 minutes of the announced time) and Leonard skips on to the stage immediately, there were no supporting acts. It will probably be the same for Liverpool, enjoy the show!
