btw, love that Neko Case album above, found her through NPR when they were playing some of Leonards Live in London before it was released.

This was my album of choice on the bus home tonight. I think I subconciously chose it because of the Mosaic Birthday project.
My fave song on it is Dirty Blue

Vic Chesnutt's 12th and one of his best album!I love it!
The list of collaborators is impressive: the one and only Van Dyke Parks contributes a string arrangement for "Virginia" and plays accordion on other tracks; the great Bill Frisell plays guitar, Chesnutt's niece Liz Durrett duets on "What Do You Mean?"; and former Lone Justice and Jayhawks drummer Don Heffington keeps supple time throughout.
