lizzytysh wrote:That's unbelievable, Phil! You are brilliant with meaning, rhymes, and perfect choices of words! Been listening a LOT about the economy in Ireland and the anger there, and how many Irish are processing it through irony and satire as they stand around in Dublin pubs making their pointed comments. If you'd show up at one of them, you'd sure have a receptive and appreciative audience for doing an a capella of your adaptation.

I wish I had good reason to nick it, too. I think Paula's got the right idea on contacting media sources with it 8) .

This thread is in danger of falling asleep so a little competition to keep it going. What is Ken saying to me here? I cannot remember as I had too much wine but the funniest reply wins a small prize :)

Hi Tinds:-)

looks to me like Ken isn't in fact saying anything, but falling sideways off his chair because while you were laughing you had stopped talking for twenty seconds.

I know I posted this on my Facebook but I think it deserves a wider audience. Every time I hear it it makes me laugh. Go to the video link on the page. The only very tenuous link to Leonard is the woman is from Kent as are the Webb Sisters.

There is a very strong rumour that the snowman has escaped his kidnappers but he can't find his way home so now he's just "drifting"

I heard about that but I do believe all his assets were frozen until he could prove he wasn't going to disappear without trace so he left his hat ,scarf , two marbles and a carrot as collateral so that the we know he will return probably in about a years time
