Jarkko mentioned something about "registration" a few pages back - registration for what exactly?

Where is Kelley Lynch?

Post by Adrian »

I've been tied up in studios and production for most of this year, and have just now surfaced to read this word of new or additional management for Leonard Cohen.

Where has happened to Kelley Lynch, Leonard's long-time manager/partner?

Will she still be with LC - as a personal manager, perhaps? Or has she suffered some health issues? Or?

In any event, I hope she is well. In my dealings with Stranger Management, Kelley was a caring person of high integrity. Add to that a sense of humanity which placed people before profit, and they seemed more than a special team.

May the future for, both, Leonard and Kelley continue to be genuinely fulfilling and enriching.

cheers, Ad

Adrian, Kelley left after Dear Heather was released in October, due to personal matters. There was a news on forum then. Leonard was without a manager for a half year. I think that Stranger Management was discontinued; the letters shouldn't be adressed to it anymore (see Authors page at The Files). I don't know what's with Kelley, she dissapeared, and I wasn't so good with her to write her an email.

Thanks, Tom. I've missed on out news for quite a while now.

I certainly hope Kelley is ok, and the personal reasons that necessitated her leaving management are not dire. And, here's hoping that the new circumstances prove fruitful for Leonard and all those who love his music.

cheers, Ad

Just read through the previous 8 pages.

I'm very excited about this. It's much better for me that it will not be for some time, as I have absolutely no money at the moment and I'm not sure if a Dublin date will be added to the tour. In a way, I think I would prefer to see Leonard somewhere else. I don't know where. I don't know why. I think I would also prefer to go alone to this concert.

I'm only 20 years old, I thought I had missed my chance (Dublin 1985, I would have been a few months old) to see him live but this is just amazing news.

I really don't know what else to say.

I would give my left arm to see him in concert, but I really doubt it's going to happen now anymore...I guess even damnation is poisoned with rainbows.

Hi leavallon,

Welcome to the forum. I couldn't' help but notice your enthusiasm for both U2 and Leonard and, of course, the two combined.

I'm always interested to learn what songs, poems or events bring people to this site. I tend to learn more that way. I get links and info I wouldn't ordinarily find.

You gave your left arm here, and you almost died in the other thread, is there any way I could encourage you to talk a bit about what it is you like so much about either artist? I understand if you don't want to, it's kinda hard being 'grilled' on fresh arrival. Still, I share your feelings (however not the physical extremes) for both Bono and Leonard. Did you like Bono's cover of Hallelujah? I think it's had mixed reviews.

Nice meeting you,
Linda.
