On the up side--maybe Leonard will have time to take a peek into the forum--now --maybe even receive our birthday wishes and of course wishes for a speedy recovery.

I had to try for some time both gdp and fnac before parterre seats were offered. Although I can't quite figure out where the seats are I bought them.
Now I am quite excited and looking very much forward to September.
Christel,
I did the same ! The venue in Marseille seems to be rather small (max. 8500 seats) and there will definitely be a huge run
on tickets for this concert and I absolutely wanted to be sure to have one. If you ordered Fnac tickets, you normally should
have seen a plan indicating the seats you were offered to buy.
It took some time, indeed, but now I have a parterre 4th row seat on the left
(must be right in front of Sharon, Hattie & Charlie) !
See you there !

I have discovered a quick cure for Leonard......I say one good turn deserves another.
All that is needed is one golden cat with the same green eyes as Leonard who can chant -âOooouuuuuuooooouuuaaaaaaooooooaaaaaaoooooaaaaaoooooooooooo"
and this is the cure -

"I'm broken from bending"
"I've lived too long on my knees"
Heard that somewhere. Don't remember where.
Oh! Got it....

I love this phrase that is being repeated again and again by the press -
it is still unclear how the back injury was caused
Here's a link for one such site - but the same words have been repeated a gazillion times today in other papers and online news sites (virtually the same article) -
http://www.rocketnews.com/2010/02/leona ... lays-tour/
In that it is
still unclear, for me that begs the question "gosh - when exactly did it
start to be unclear?"
And the ones who include this phrase also seem to include a bit of media spin by the subtle or not so subtle inclusion of this sentence -
Last year, the singer spent time in a Spanish hospital after collapsing on stage. He was said to have had food poisoning.
He was
said to have food poisoning? Haha! Like - golly - maybe he didn't really have it? But - he is
said to have had it.

I believe Leonard will resist disclosing how he got his injury, he likes to keep us all guessing and speculating about most things.
Recently I read about a poor man on safari in Africa being killed by a stampeding elephant. I gave this some thought and decided that, rather than be one of the many nameless victims scraped up off the motorways (or interstates) - you are just as dead whichever way you go - I would rather be remembered as being despatched by a charging elephant in must. Or even eaten as a snack by a tiger in India, that seems a good alternative. I mean our loved ones will remember us for ever (we hope) but locally, in the pubs etc., we could continue to crop up for some time in conversations over a pint, it might be our only chance at fame. Anyway, it seems a more noble way to go.
Where am I going with this? NONE of us wants to learn that Leonard put his back out pulling on his socks one morning, or picking up a fork from the kitchen floor! We want to believe the more exotic alternatives, and I am sure Leonard would prefer that we thought he busted his back in the time-honoured heroic, traditional way. So Leonard, please keep it your secret (unless it really is something amazingly exotic and then we really do want to know), it will keep us occupied in quiet moments through until September.

Hi marina
I just wanted to point out that the Slovak journalists are quite slow in informing the fans.
I know that Jarkko told us when Leonard will have a concert in Slovakia.

In this 2008 interview, Leonard speaks mysteriously of a "half-assed" exercise routine that he tries to "go to." I've always wondered about it. Maybe he injured himself doing that. Or by missing it too many times, and then trying to do too much at once. (I know how that goes.)
Maybe it is yoga. We've all seen him in the Lotus pose.

I love this interview!!

Thanks Mnkyface, that was a delight to watch and read. There was that pesky word again "pesky little financial situation, which totally wiped me out". It was a word my father loved, I think he picked it up from cartoons.

Oh, Evie... I LOVED your posting

[your earlier one, though your feedback to Esther was good, too]. Yeah, incapacitated for touring purposes due to an exercise routine you were never particularly fond of from the beginning. Now, there's a bummer for ya.

This morning on the Croatian Radio Antena, the DJs wondered (with Dance Me... in the background) what Leonard was doing to get
that kind of injury

Somehow, they decided to stay discreet about it, mentioned that LC will hopefully say what actually did he do one day in his autobiography, and announced that new Zagreb date is still to be publicised by the tour promoter.
