You are right. It would depend on exactly what you had in mind to put on the tee-shirt. You couldn't use any of the LC official symbols e.g.,the unified hearts or his likeness. I suppose a plain black tee-shirt with a grey fedora might work (or vice versa)? With a fun slogan to be determined?Mabeanie1 wrote:Why? Re: San Jose
I was thinking of some sort of witty slogan (not that I'm any good at coming up with them and I Suspect my English sense of humour backfires on quite a few occasions - must remember to add the smilies to make my meaning clear!
)
I like the hat idea though.
If we could get a design together we could put it somewhere on the net for everyone to download and print their own black T shirt, either at home or at a T shirt printing shop.
Wendy
PS If we were clever enough with the slogan we could also wear the shirts to the SJ show - maybe something around a theme like Leonard's Final Fling.

Um...(Jarkko, please don't get angry with me)...the Hollywood types here roll their eyes and say, He'll tour again.If we were clever enough with the slogan we could also wear the shirts to the SJ show - maybe something around a theme like Leonard's Final Fling.
But he will be 75, I say.
Oh, you said he is writing new songs. He will have to tour again to support a new album.
Why not ask DrHGuy (Allan) drhguy@1heckofaguy.com to help with a slogan and perhaps even a design. He is by far, the wittiest LC slogan man around.

Re: San Jose
The one that's been crying out to me for a bumper sticker or a t-shirt is:
Do dum dum dum,
De do dum dum
Do dum dum dum,
De do dum dum
From bitter searching of the heart, we rise to play a greater part. Frank Scott (Although I would never have heard it if it weren't for Leonard Cohen).
