Mysterious Leonard Cohen "1967 studio sessions" album - any information?

After all the excitement of the 1971 recordings coming and going on iTunes, I was wondering if anyone could help me get hold of the 1967 studio outtakes that were also released for a short while for copyright reasons.

This is the only missing item I’m my Cohen collection, so any help would be massively appreciated!

I fear we all have missed the boat on even listening, (except for Tyralot) let alone having any of these first studio outtakes in 1967.
But as everybody knows, I am the eternal optimist! I absolutely echo your wishes in wanting to have them too!!

Hi,

I checked iTunes UK yesterday and they have released 11 concerts from the 1972 tour!

Sound quality is great and performances are amazing. Concerts are also complete with no fade outs like some of the last batch.

I imagine this must be another copyright extension, so wanted to grab them as soon as I could.

Concerts are:

Dublin - 18 March

London Albert Hall - 23 March

Stockholm - 3 April

Berlin - 8 April

Vienna - 10 April

Geneva - 14 April

Amsterdam - 15 April

Brussels 16 April

Paris - 18 April

Tel Aviv - 19 April

Jerusalem - 21 April


Wanted to tip you all off as I imagine they will go soon.

It might be worth searching for Leonard Cohen 1972, as the albums don't come up when searching for Leonard Cohen.

If I were in the UK (which I'm not), would there be a way to download tracks from iTunes?

It will be a shame if these recordings "disappear forever," as seems to have been the case with the 1967 batch.

I'm in the UK but can't find them on iTunes.
It occurs to me that, for copyright reasons, they may also be published briefly before the year end in other countries, particularly the USA. Suggest we all keep a lookout.
