I will write a poem every day
Or just walk along

For the one whose tale is ever untold
For the one who burns inside

Or just be on her side

For the one who said her first hello
While singing her last goodbye
I will write a poem everyday
Or love her on the sly

For the one who was never mine
For the one faraway
I will write a poem everyday
Or make her feelings sway

For the one who is still unborn
For the one I will never meet

Or walk a lonely street

For the one who will never read my lines
For the one who will never care

Or meet her everywhere
