Do not seek too much fame
but do not seek obscurity
be proud
but do not remind the world of your deeds
excel when you must
but do not excel the world
many heroes are not yet born
many have already died
to be alive to hear this song is a victory
but do not seek obscurity
be proud
but do not remind the world of your deeds
excel when you must
but do not excel the world
many heroes are not yet born
many have already died
to be alive to hear this song is a victory
yeah, well, errrrm, hum, yeah, ok, I dunno, articulation is not my fing, who cares, SHUT IT YOU MUPPET, blah blah blah

thank you, sideways, for reminding me of this prayer - though i must admit that obscurity has always been a most tempting target. hope you are keeping well, and for a long time will continue to enrich this tiny corner of the internet.
you may remember our visit to one of my friends? here is a little sketch recently made while he was singing

Re: never-ending gallery
that looks nothing like Leonard Cohen but it is a lovely change to see a sketch of Julian Assange

Re: never-ending gallery
the two of us exporting different opinions on julian assange is a memory not difficult to recall. apart from that, temporarily away from home do i find myself, enjoying the hospitality of a couple of aging lesbians who reside at a farmhouse in the small settlement of haddal, a short boat ride south of ålesund. they wish to adopt me, they say - but an intention to return home this evening remains anchored in my frontal lobe.
do you, against all odds, possess a desire to see two items recently found in a second-hand shop at spjelkavik? okay, don't be silly, of course it's no trouble, look . . . here they are. on my balcony was this picture secured, before departing for haddal
