Here is a detailed seating map of the Bell Centre for typical concert layouts (includes seat numbers). http://www.evenko.ca/_pdf/centrebell/Ca ... ximale.pdf

Note that the front row typically has 42 seats in three sections of 14 seats each. However, at Leonard's concert in 2012, they added extra seats in the front row (or was it the first few rows?), closing up the aisles, and making a total of about 60 seats in the row. I suppose the configuration to be used for the tribute concert might not actually be certain when tickets first go on sale, so if you are in the front row(s) the relative position of your seat could theoretically change before the night of the show if they decide to add extra seats.

With regards to evenko, assuming their process hasn't changed in the last couple of years, you are placed in a virtual waiting room at the start of the presale or general public sale. They open the waiting room about thirty minutes before the sale starts. When the sale does start, you are randomly drawn out of the waiting room and given a chance to buy tickets. You can reject your ticket allocations twice if you don't like what is being offered to you (i.e., you are given 3 chances before you are sent back into the waiting room, at which point you have to wait until you are randomly drawn out again). http://www.evenko.ca/en/faq/purchasing-tickets#2

Looking to purchase tickets for the Nov 6 concert. Am new to the pre-sale option. I am an Evenko member...but how will the two of Cohen fan club and Evenko be linked. I understand as a fan club member there is a presale going on. Thank you for any help

***The presale is not yet active - we hope to have it on Thursday (but have not yet received any details). All info will be posted in this thread, including link to the Evenko page. / Jarkko

Called the Bell Centre & here is the info for the questions.

The concert is usually not in the round.
On the floor plan there is a thin grey area in the back behind seats, for sound system etc.
The stage is in front, sometimes the configuration allows for the singer to walk in the middle between the front rows (that was the case with Mick Jagger, strutting his stuff)
The floor (most expensive seats (foldable chairs) has seating for 42. Depending on sales they can add more (as was the case when LC performed) I had a seat there & was annoyed that I wasn't in the aisle, in order to take photos, security tells you to sit down!
The seating, floor & all levels is numbered 1,2.3,4,5 etc
On the floor (parterre) the front section is A-Z, the back section is AA-ZZ
If you are seating in the Levels, view everwhere is good, some prefer to sit closer to the stage so they sit in the side sections.

NO BACKPACKS allowed. Can't check them in the Centre.

For those in the UK or who attended the O2 concerts, the Evenko ticketing system is exactly the same as the one operated by AXS. The system is c**p. As Ronaldson says you are randomly selected from the waiting room to buy tickets. We have waited an hour before now to be "selected" only to find tickets havd sold out by the time we have been given the opportunity to buy.

I have a very bad feeling about this .....

I am surprised that the presale will take place on Rosh Hashannah, the Jewish New Year. Many Jews including the synagogue choir that sang on his last record will not be able to take part in this presale. It is a huge mistake to have it then.

Will there still be an advanced viewing opportunity for forum members? Or does one need to buy a VIP or welcome package?

Good morning everybody. A lot has happened while I was sleeping (badly, I'd like to add). Thanks to Marie for posting the information and answering so many questions by email.

I have been reading the information we have got - and also your emails that have arrived during the night - and would like to draw your attention to these points:

The links and other information will be posted in this thread at 10 am today, EDT

- maximum number of tickets per order is 8
- "Welcome to LC's Montreal Package" 235 CAD is not a ticket but a bonus that can be added to any concert ticket (at any price level)
- Preview to the Museum on Nov 6/7 is available only through the VIP and Welcome packages (the official opening is on Nov 9, I don't known if there are still tickets available).

The price table we got some days ago was broken. Here are the correct ticket prices:

REGULAR TICKETS

P1 $276.50
P2 $188.00
P3 $117.00
P4 $63.00
P5 $40.25

All prices listed are inclusive of tax and s/c. Handling fee of 5.75 CAD to be added. All prices are in CAD

We also have plans of our own, for the Forum members only.
A dinner (on 5th) would be great, and we may also have some kind of guided City Tour.
More about these plans later.

I sent some of your questions to Evenko. Here are the aswers:

Are the P2 seats in the combination "Regular P2 ticket + Welcome Pack" going to be as good as those P2 seats in the Premium VIP package?

No. VIP inventory is, for the most part, superior. At their risk if they go for reg tickets + welcome pack.

if they buy two regular tickets, can they add just one Welcome package
Yes. They can add up to the number of tickets in their order but they have the choice to add less.
