Cardiff meet 3rd Sept

Post by Diane »

I know Rob and Ann are going but anyone else from here? Wendy? JTS? I'm going straight from work and will only have time to meet at the bar inside the venue before it starts.

Thanks for starting this thread Diane. I am going to the show but we are driving straight there from home (and straight back afterwards) so I'm not sure if I will make it to any meet up. The bar inside the venue would be the best option for me too.

Hi folks,

We are nearly there. If anyone can make it with a little time to spare, I recommend meeting in the pub "the Duke of Wellington", it is less than 5 minutes from the venue, sells good ale and is unpopular with the youth of Cardiff. should meet our requirements perfectly.

I will be there at 6.30. Be great to meet some of you at the Duke.

Rob I've rearranged things so I can get to the pub first:-)

I called the arena to find out what time it starts - "about 7.30". (Wendy I'll still be there in good time to meet, assuming you don't make the Duke of Wellington.)

Looking forward it all!

The "official" start time for the UK shows seems to be 7:30 pm but they will push it back to 7:40 or 7:45 pm if people aren't in their seats on time. Of course, if everyone is in their seats and the show starts at 7:30 pm, there's a fighting change we might get to hear Anthem again. Just a thought .....

Can't fault your choice of food or clothes but sounds like your personal life could stand some improvement!
