Thank you from me too, Hartmut - wonderful article!

I'm very glad that Leonard Cohen remembered that he was a singer, & eventually declined to accept God's plan to bore him to death! :D

And I SO want to be at that concert where he takes his first long drag of a cigarette.

FUN article, Sylvie. Always something new revealed.

Very fine article. Thanks to the one who wrote it so very well, and to you Hartmut for the post.

Back on the road in more or less three days now.

I still hope for a North (north) America tour in Autumn. Or in Winter.

Or in Spring.

Nice article.

Anyone know why he would want to take up smoking again?

This same article with the same title and beautiful photo was in the Vancouver Sun dated June 16 2013 and it was a full 3/4 of the page. I was visiting family and opened the paper and was very happy for the surprise.

I'm hoping it's mostly a joke (it's a stellar little routine) and I'm also hoping that as he finds such joy in his return to performing, the idea of returning to something that would have a bad effect on that will not appeal.

Lovely piece, thanks for sharing.

Leonard Cohen never fails to bring a smile to my face.
He is blessed with so much style, grace and geniality.

Hope that everyone who sees him perform this year has
a magical time.
