There is an important announcement coming.
I am waiting for final details from AEG.
Please check the news here often tonight and tomorrow.

Thanks Jarkko. Funny coincidence as Hans and I had just decided to go to the Saturday concert about five minutes ago. And now this. We will stay put although it may be a little difficult to do so while watching Leonard on stage here in Amsterdam. Thanks again! Much appreciated. Especially on your birthday!

0n the AEG Live website they have WEMBLEY ARENA for Leonard Cohen on the 8th and 9th September and with tickets on sale 24th September, this Friday.

Does this sound feasible ??

Sorry in my suprise I typed September but it is August 24th for sale of tickets !!!!!

This is the same dates scheduled for Hop Farm so if true the Hop farm gigs must be cancelled.

In that case, what happens to the tickets for Hop Farm for both dates that people have bought?

Just hope we get ticket refunds from Hop Farm without too much of a hassle and delay. If the Wembley dates really go on sale this Friday at 9 am, wonder if this is a public sale.

I notice you were at the Colston Hall, Bristol in 1976. So were we - it started the whole thing off really.

Wow, never a dull moment in the land of LC.
Mixed feelings about this personally. On the one hand I've got good tickets for both of the Hop Farm gigs, on the other I can see Wembley Stadium from the end of my road.
Hope we get some news soon, If not I don't think i'll sleep much tonight.

Tickets for Hop Farm on the Sunday are still on sale with some sellers but Eventim "appear" to have them on hold. I really do hope this doesn't turn out to be something along the lines of last time, when AEG kept quiet rather too long about Leonard's back problem and let people continue to book tickets and make hotel and travel plans, some people losing hotel deposits, or in some cases, full payments.

If there is seriously going to be a change of venue from Hop Farm (bizarre!!) then personally I would prefer Wembley Arena but then how would the folks with good tickets for Hop Farm feel and indeed, surely some fans will have booked train fares and hotels already?

All will be revealed in time........ ;-)
I guess it all started for me sometime around Christmas 1967 and now, goodness me, it's.........2018 and over fifty years later.
