We have not got the final price list from AEG yet, but some of

Re: About ticket pricing
When you are trying to buy tickets using the forum password... if I want to try to get tickets for the highest price or the second highest price level, would the second level of pricing offer the best seats in that level such as front row.
I saw Leonard at the Palace Theater in Connecticut last time and that was such a beautiful, intimate setting. I was in the third row aisle seat. But this time, it will be MSG and I am not familiar with how the seating works... can someone suggest seating areas there which are good? I have looked at the seating chart for MSG but from the chart I can't tell at what elevation anything is.

Re: About ticket pricing
Haven't been to MSG since renovation completed last Fall, so can't be positive. Think in the prior Cohen show the floor seats were the most expensive, and perhaps the first few rows on the sides. TV screens make viewing possible from almost anywhere. I don't like the large arenas, but take whatever I can for Leonard.
The way I read the VIP packages, they indicate "choice seats" in each price range. My assumption is they are closer to the stage than non VIP, but I can't swear to it.Sorry I can't give a more definitive answer. I prefer chairs with arms, which were only available in the oval around the floor.

Re: About ticket pricing
Thank you, dick. Chairs with arms, hmmmm! That's interesting. The floor seats have no arms then.
I just called MSG to ask about seating sections and the woman said to me... don't you know what a stadium looks like?

Re: About ticket pricing
well, that wasn't particularly kind of her... they break up seating in various ways in stadiums.

Re: About ticket pricing
Opted for top price, side for MSG, and Emerald VIP for Barclays.
Row 10, close to stage in MSG. Row 1, but almost half way back for Brooklyn.
Happy now, hopefully will remain so at the shows.

Re: About ticket pricing
dick, I actually was 45 minutes late getting to the ticket buying. But I am very happy. I got Row 9 at MSG.

Re: About ticket pricing
Dick could you please clarify what you meant when you said for VIP you got row 1 but halfway back? Thanks!
I was cautioned to surrender, this I could not do . . . .
Re: About ticket pricing
I got the Emerald VIP -- so the seat is in the second price tier, not the highest. (Diamond VIP are the top price seats.)
Pretty significant price difference -- $300 per ticket vs $500 -- so not as many items in the merchandise package and further back seat.
Have been blessed with really close seats several times and have cherished memories. At some point, however, financial reality urges moderation.

Why are tickets on sale for Austin at this site:
http://www.vividseats.com/concerts/leon ... 88494.html
It shows Row DD at $192.00/each.
And for Detroit with this:
GALLERY
TBD
$125.00
MEZZANINE 4
SUITE
$305.00

These are speculative seats. These people are selling what they hope to buy.

Thanks, Marie.
That's what I thought after I thought about it, too.
Do you know if any of their pricings are right?
Or what the prices are supposed to be for either Austin or Detroit?

True, most are speculative, but a few are season ticket holders selling their regular seats.MarieM wrote:These are speculative seats. These people are selling what they hope to buy.
