http://www.ebay.ie/itm/LEONARD-COHEN-Fr ... 35bb0376f3 Man, people are really cashing in on the Dublin shows. Not very nice really when fans try so hard to get tickets. Still, there's so little that can be done. When I went to see Tom Waits a few years ago in Paris there was a system in place in which the purchaser had to supply identification before the tickets would be allocated. The problem with this process was that it meant queueing up in the blistering heat for hours the day before the show to acquire them. It also ruled out buying any tickets as gifts. Hard to know if such a process is best or not to avout touting/scalping.
We have already had the conversation about touts in the topic "Tickets". It is so annoying especially when we see them selling better tickets than we got in th presales. The sooner more dates are announced the better and then hopefully the touts will be stuck with the tickets and not rob the genuine fans!

Wonder if this is a compromise with the local residents, 1 extra instead of 2?
Anyway, glad there is some time before tickets go on sale as it might give "ordinary people" , who are neither ticket touts nor members of this forum ( decreasing in number, I know, because every blogger/tweeter/busybody seems to think it their duty to direct people here!!! ) a chance to realise there IS an LC concert ( if it is properly advertised) and to buy tickets for the concert before it is sold out.
Forget your perfect offering -
There is a crack in everything...

I think more likely a reflection of the local economy.... I don't think the first two sold out as quickly as they claim, and two more nights was a bit of a risk, saleswise... and sure, Leonard & the band will want to have some tourist time in Ireland
you may be right, I may be crazy.... but it just may be a lunatic you're looking for...
Tickets for 12th, flights booked, Ashling Hotel booked (still limited availability on Late Rooms) - all done before pre-sale for 14th Sept - can't afford/justify another night, must keep some funds in case we can travel elsewhere (UK??? - Scotland???!) Can't wait for September!
