I'm going to join the calls for a YouTube performance - come on BV, track down that CD! Then when you are performing with LC you can get us all backstage ;)

For those of you needing a violin fix, we were fortunate to be treated to one at the 2010 Krakow Event.
Kaz (radkaz55 on youtube) captured a terrific video of "The WIndow" at the final concert held in the acoustically splendid and historic Tempel Synagogue.

Female singer. Female violinist. The ladies rocked!
Enjoy.

I wonder what other songs will have the violin played in them now?

Hey B4real, count me in on The Window too (not that there'll be too much room on that ledge)! ;-)

Seriously, apart from Amen, The Window is a must - I've adored the violin solo in it for 32+ years now! :D

Cheers,
Andrew :)

Me too for The Window. Leonard clearly reads this stuff.

Yes, The Window would surely be the #1 choice - & maybe The Guests & The Traitor too!

Well Rachel, as we now have you also lobbying for more from the Recent Songs album, it will surely happen :)

If we are lobbying for "The Window", I will add my vote, too. It is the song I most hope will be added to the setlist.

B4real wrote:Well then, as it was in the beginning - why can't it be now in the future :?: :)
That was written near the start of this thread in 2009 and now, because I'm physic and can see into the future  ;-) I just know "The Window" is going to be played!

.....and The Traitor and The Guests are possibilities.

I also think that the violin playing a part in some of the established concert songs like:

So Long Marianne, The Gypsy's Wife, Bird On The Wire and Hallelujah would all be icing on the cake!

Dance Me To The End Of Love (whose real meaning becomes more obvious and expressive with a violin) is a must!

I'm warming up my crystal ball. All will be revealed in the coming months. :)
