LC parody in 22 Minutes Christmas special (CBC, December 13)

Oh comon you guys, its funny and is meant to amuse people over the christmas. LC is one of the wittiest people I have ever come accross and I,m sure he would have a good old laugh at this . Take it in the spirit it was meant, lighthearted, and lets not all get too deep in analysis.

scocoh - I agree with you, but don't think that people are not necessarily clever enough to get LC, but that they simply don't invest any time or effort.

Maybe. Or maybe they're not smart enough to simply invest the time and effort.

After all, we are very Cohencentric

"Like a bird in the oven" - it's not hillarous but worth a giggle, I'll probably be singing it myself this year.

They only played ~ 20 seconds of the Leonard Cohen bit on the show. I thought it was a nice shout out to one of our icons.

I'm with scocoh, that was pretty lame.

I guess the fact that Leonard is recognizable enough to be so shamelessly parodied is a weird sort of tribute, as horridly (and falsely) stereotypical as it was.
