A small collection of videos and images, which show the renditions of LC songs/poems during Occupy actions in the USA.

Including:
- Conspiracy of Beards perform four Cohen songs in San Francisco,
- Love Incarnate perform "The Drunk is Gender-Free" from Book of Longing.

I recently saw the Conspiracy of Beards perform for 40 minutes when they were the first act for Sharon Robinson's performance at Cafe du Nord in San Francisco.
I first noticed over 40 men walking around the small venue wearing fedora's and suits and then they all got onto this small stage.
They were introduced by saying they only play Leonard Cohen songs and bar mitzvahs.
At first I was taken a back with them all singing acapella...but I soon warmed up to them and enjoyed the whole act. It was quite a sight to behold
and quite hilarious at the same time.
Some great voices and different takes as covers.
At one point this incredible woman came out and belted out a song that took my breath away.
I think they only perform in this area but if you get a chance to listen to them its worth it.

Stamatina commented on their Anthem:
?!?!?! this sounds like a 1930s musical… what exactly was their problem with the original music?
Good notice, but I like this version.

yeah, I like it, too, as much as I like any other 1930s musical I've heard..
"Oh chosen love, Oh frozen love
Oh tangle of matter and ghost
Oh darling of angels, demons and saints
And the whole broken-hearted host
Gentle this soul..."
