This is from the older seed, not the recent reseed at Dime, although the two are pretty much identical I suppose.

I will put up a couple more links as time warrants. Let me know of comments/issues/if these are redundant, etc. Thanks.

You are correct, my mistake. Sorry. I will edit my post. The files are labeled as taking place on October 6, 1974.
I can copy and paste the text file to this one if anyone wants it too.
Probably should point out which source this is, quoted from the text file:
Alternate recording to the commonly circulating (and bootlegged) LTB's capture. A very good/close/clear stereo tape.

A new transfer of the LTB's recording capturing the entire performace is going to be available still in November. This is a fresh transfer (i.e. done on 2010-11-14) from the 1974 master reels to wave files using Roland Edirol R-09hr. No DAT or CDR stages anymore, hence upgrading all/any other versions. A must have. LTB was there, but the thing is his recording will take you there, too.

Also Frankfurt 1972 "I Disgraced Myself" - will see the light of day in the same lineage soon. (not to mention 1979-11-01 and more...). The Digital Leonard Cohen Project ("DiLeCo") has quadrupled its pace... get more blanks, empty your hard drives... you've been warned.

You're welcome Cheshire Gal. Cohen is a big inspiration for me, wonderful artist.

That is great news! DiLeCo sets a very high standard. Thanks for the information! :D
Does anybody know if there are there matrices circulating of some of his shows? ("matrix" =a mix of two sources, ie 50% soundboard/50% audience recording)
I did download a matrix of the 2009 4 5 Tempe Arizona USA show which was pretty good sounding on my computer but it is not digital CD compatible because there are 48,000 samples per second instead of the standard 44,100.
I put up another show on megaupload, I should have the link by tomorrow and I will post it then.

I don't think so... There is a very limited potential for matrices, but it's there anyway.
Cologne 1988 and Zurich 1993 immediately come to mind as good candidates (sbd+aud). Also Hamburg 1993 and Frankfurt 1993 should sound awesome (aud+aud)...

I noticed that there are two sources for Helsinki 93 online as well, an FM source and an audience recording, that would be cool too to make into a matrix, the FM is incomplete but fairly substantial and clean.
Combining the sources doesn't guarantee that it will sound great, but I have heard some good matrices of recordings by the Grateful Dead at least, since they had a very generous taping policy and large trading circles, there are many sources circulating. Here's one that's up for mp3 streaming if at all interested in seeing what I'm talking about:
1989 7 19 Alpine Valley Grateful Dead Matrix
Anyway, I've tried to put up some of the better/best recordings I have heard here in the forum on megaupload for free trading. There are many that don't sound as good because of equipment limitations, taper position, etc. and not every show that's up for trading sounds great or even good. The newest shows that come out generally sound pretty good because technology is awesome.
Anyway I put up this one, the link should be ready now, I think it's the only vinyl rip of a Cohen show that I've seen, someone recorded this from a set of LPs originally, it's an incomplete show but it's pretty decent nonetheless.
