This concert has been tentative for a long time but still it remains unconfirmed by AEG. I emailed them this morning but didn't get any new information (except confirmation for the new venue in Bratislava). Now I've sent this direct link, and am waiting for comments.

tickets sellers with nearly all sold out... with just 300 tikets left and nothing confirmed on officials Cohen´s websites....
What can we do, man???? any suggestion???

a bit bitter my first post.... anyway it looks that my impeccable CV on Cohen´s concerts will keep excelent with Valencia09 and this one´s that shows evidence for no show!!. UNBEATABLE!!!!
My theory -- I underline that I don't KNOW this - is that the local city government that is said to pay most of the costs has demanded that the concert is not advertised outside the city. I am 99,99 % convinced that the concert will happen, so those who'd like to see Leonard in Spain this year should go ahead and order tickets. --- I have emailed Leonard's manager to get some information about this mystery.

I agree with the theory that promoters want to sell the tickets locally. It has always been like this, as Xacobeo's program is financed by "regional government" with money which comes from taxes paid in Galicia. I went to some of the concerts in Xacobeo 2004 and ,as far as I remember, they took ages to be confirmed, tickets went on sale late etc. On the positive side, I have to admit that finally it all turned out well and I had a wonderful holiday.
I also subscribe to the theory that regional politicians appreciated LC's concert in Vigo last summer so much that this year they are keeping lots of tickets for themselves, their families and friends. The sale is going fast and not many people seem to have good seats.
I have given up and I'm going to Lisboa instead-which I find is a good alternative- Good luck to all those who keep the faith!

The situation here now it´s a mix between Jarkko´s theory "the concert is not advertised outside the city" and hazey words "regional politicians are keeping lots of tickets for themselves, their families and friends and friend´s friends"
Yeah like the very fourth rows are for them, no problem one´s get used to this ... and I´d want to think this people likes LC´s music and it´s not just a fashion thing to do in Orense on 12th Sept....
when poitics mix with culture or arts a bitter cocktail happens sometimes...
