To the 2010 World Tour organizers: Cities Wish List
Re: To the 2010 World Tour organizers: Cities Wish List
Interesting question Remote. If they've been working on the dates for the rest of the tour ever since the re-scheduling of the March dates to September and October was announced in early February then I guess that a fair bit of the 2010 tour may be cast in stone by now. However, there is always room for dreams so I think we SHOULD carry on wishing out loud. After all, even if the dates for the rest of 2010 are cast in stone by now there is always the 2011 tour to hope for. I'm sure they'll be looking for ideas and by then it will DEFINITELY be time to visit the UK and Ireland again!

I have to say I am VERY intrigued by this gap, this line of flight, as one of my favourite philosophers would say, in August...

How about Cape Town

Spot on! I noticed a while ago that there is a forum member whose username is deleuze68, so it's good to know there are at least three Deleuze (&Guattari should I say) admirers in the world!TueLo wrote:Gilles Deleuze!?!

Hang on a second... that was a definite no to South Africa that I just saw wasn't it?... Have I missed the 'definite no' to the UK then? - or has there not been one??
(Somebody PLEASE say that there hasn't been one!!! Because I have been going round for months crossing everything - still, including me eyes - still!)
Remote- I do like your thinking - lots of gaps for dreams!

Bloody hell - what must I do to get him here? Kidnap him?
That can be arranged .....
Could you wrap him up and send him to the next Cape Town International Jazz Festival, Jarrko?

Re: To the 2010 World Tour organizers: Cities Wish List
Alsiony, sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but there was definitely a post somewhere where Jarkko wrote something like: "To the best of my knowledge there are no concerts scheduled for the UK". There was another post where his answer to someone asking was "Alsiony wrote:Hang on a second... that was a definite no to South Africa that I just saw wasn't it?... Let's hope so!
oh, and I would love it if whoever was joking about the Sheldonian could confirm this as I am beginning to seriously worry about my sanity. Cheers!
It's a bit like a George Orwell novel, with history being deleted and rewritten...

No, it wasn't me. If I was going to request a specific local venue I would have asked for a week at Curdworth Village Hall (because the church hall would be much too small ....)ladydi wrote:I am 99% sure it was mabeanie1 who mentioned the Sheldonian
