Observations on Leonard Cohen, Chicago, May 6, 2009
They said you ran
Off the stage and on.
But I saw it for myself.
It was a skip
Of joy,
That swept cool breezes across my skin,
And curled my heart in a smile.
That difference is more than words.
It’s the difference between
Mud and sand, lead and feather,
Ground and sky, hard landing and takeoff.
It is the difference
I came looking for.
My smile sails me home, trailing the difference
Along the midnight street.
Will they think I’m crazy for skipping home?
Or will they join me,
Their hearts taking on the smile?
The Difference

Re: The Difference
i think Leonard has shown the heart beats of the world and the sharing visons that come when open to what is there for all in this universe... your skip down the street is the dance of your existance... find your joy and spread it like jam on toast to go with Leonards tea and oranges...
