Yo ! What an amazing week in Berlin and what a surprise when the band showed up. We had 25 seats reserved for normal dying people and it was already tight with the seating plan. Ithought we could fit in one or two more guests. My brother and I arrived at Kirk Royal 6.45. We were the first people to be there. Then 5 or 6 more from our guest list arrived. We were still standing in the foyer and had a few drinks there. Then 3 other guys arrived who were not from our list, entered and moved to the bar and ordered drinks. I thought the one with the cap looked familiar but I didn't pay more attention. Then I noticed the jacket of the other guy and it says "AEG" and I: "Holy nonsense - this is no coincidence". I knew Jarkko and I had written an invitation to the band but we were far from believing that someone would come around. The minutes passed by. I chatted to our people and soon I forgot about that AEG with more beers to come. So - about 20 minutes later, while we were standing close to the entry and had a good look outside, all of a sudden I discovered Roscoe Beck thru the window . And then I thought, how great is that, one of the band is joining us. But then I saw Sharon, Raphael, Hattie, Charly, Leanne, Bob plus two more and I was in shock for a few second, because immediately it dawned to me that I didn't reserve enough seats and the place was totally booked already. "Holy bliss - what a piss" I thought and I began to think about a solution. But then it turned out to be just wonderful in fact. The band mingled with us and they were so down to earth and it was absolutely fantastic how it went. Personally I talked most of my time with Leanne and Bob and I still can't believe what a lovely couple they are. I enjoyed this evening to the limits and happy and drunk I left the bar to see were I had fastened my bike.

Yes, there was indeed

Sharon told us that she and Leonard are working on one new song at the moment and are planning to perform that one at some point during the fall tour.
So there is something special to look forward to.

Well, I always knew Leonard would live forever but it seems the whole band too! Thanks again Henning for a wonderful evening to remember as long as I live and dine! Any idea when you will have a chance to post Christoph's photos on your site? - he did take a lot I seem to remember!

so .... happy and drunk I left Kirk Royal to see where I had fastened my bike. When I found it, I noticed that parts of it had been robbed. But that incident couldn't take away from my happiness. I smiled and sat down for a little nap until my brother found me.

Did anyone talk to the Webb Sisters? If I would have been there, I would have loved to talk to Charley - I think she makes a great appearance on stage!

Henning great picture. You look extremely "relaxed". Did someone just peel you off the street and take you home in the end. What are you clutching in your hands. I am still gutted I missed Berlin.

awesome! Whenever this record comes out I feel it is going to have such a great spirit about it, if the tour is any indication. Dear Heather is quite reserved and has a bit of a scrapbook feel to it, the next one I think would have more of traditional album sound. But whatever it will be, it will be great
