thanks. it's always difficult to anticipate how that type of picture will appear at the end, and that's what makes it fun.

>I actually tried "adult colouring books" once, but I couldn't get through the first picture: it was a really cool picture (of course, I chose a book with pictures I liked!), but I found the whole process of just colouring it in to be rather tedious.

those 'time killer' books seem to be on sale lots of places. it would probably be more creative and satisfying to draw one's own pictures before colouring, although not everyone has that much faith in their talents.

>If I take you up on your suggestion, I will post the result(s).

no pressure, though the result(s) would undeniably be interesting :)

Done! Interesting? It's something! I call it "Animal Magnetism in Technicolour". I may have gotten a bit carried away... :D

my god! wow! congratulations, that's positively psychedelic - far better than the first one! nobody can ever beat that! haven't seen anything this striking since tripping out on acid. you should remove the right-hand signature and sell prints on ebay; you'd make a fortune!
below is an embarrassingly pathetic response :(

Thanks, glad you like it! It was fun to do!

Your last portrait bears a rather striking resemblance to Leonard Nimoy (although it is neither pathetic nor should it be embarassing!). ;-)

thanks! yes, those two faces have uncanny similarities! seeing as they both come from the same ethnic group, their resemblance could be influenced by shared genetic or familial background.
