Isn't it that unreleased song that mentions a bird of paradise or something similar? I can't for the life of me remember the name of the song...v :?:

Hi Bev,
Glad to know that your amazing project is going on and on and on!
Please, keep us updated (if it be your will), because that's an impressive effort indeed - and an important one for our community; we're hoping to get an exclusive e-copy of the book (pleeeease) :D

Yes, you're right: "Do I Have To Dance All Night"

Ooh tell me, Bird of Paradise,
do I have to dance all night?
...
I waited half my life for you, you know

I think that was Roy Orbison.

By the way, it was officially released, although just as a single in several European states.

Thanks for the information. My memories of the song are hazy so I may have to give it a re-listen.

That's a great idea (as it's a great song), Alexandra!

Ah, always nice to hear an upbeat song from Leonard. I love the 76 version.

Hi Roman,

Thanks for your kind words! So far I have 315 titles and many pages and that’s without final typesetting styles and my artwork! If it’s too big, I may have to make two books. When I started this I was thinking of only personal use because I wasn’t sure about copyright and I definitely do not want to do the wrong thing. I will be pleased to share if it is alrght to do so. We’ll see what transpires and how it all goes together in time.

btw – While we are waiting for and Wanting the Darker album, here’s a little Lighter reading ;-)

Now, when the patient waiting is over, isn't it a right time to continue the game?

It's your turn, Herbsttag! :)

Looking for two songs that are based on poems (the poems are not written by Leonard). There may be more than two, but I'm only aware of these. :)

Me too - both songs from Dear Heather:
Lord Byron's Go No More A-Roving
& Frank Scott's Villanelle for Our Time.

Thanks! Now, when 'LC in charts' theme is trending, what about the only Cohen's song ever topped a national singles chart?
