Searching for a vague memory

Post by Gubbins » Fri Sep 07, 2012 3:46 am

I was recently reminded of a song I'd heard on college radio about 25yrs ago that blew my mind but that was before the net and time slowly washed it away. Now I search the net to no avail and it's driving my nuts. Any help would REALLY be appreciated. What I remember about the song: Cohen spoken word, epic in nature, wickedly funny and cutting, titled something "-iata". Sounds similar "Traviata" but was a fusion of words to create the epic sounding title. I've searched discographies and song lists, no joy. Any ideas?
